2023 年 8 月，中国国务院总理李强在主持召开国务院常务会议时强调，医药工业和医疗装备产业是卫生健康事业的重要支柱，直接关系到人民群众的生命健康和全面高质量发展的全局。然而，医药行业充满竞争和挑战，其中研发投入对公司的盈利能力具有重要影响。本研究选取了 71 家中国上市医药企业作为研究对象，并搜集了它们在 2013 年至 2022 年的财务数据。该研究以研发投入强度为自变量，净利润率为因变量，并控制了负债率和企业规模建立了变量之间的回归模型，分析了它们之间的相关性，再通过稳健性分析，验证研究结果的可信度。最后得出，医药制造行业的研发投入与盈利能力显著正相关，提高研发投入有助于提升企业的盈利能力。

In August 2023, Chinese Premier Li Qiang, when presiding over the executive meeting of The State Council, stressed that the pharmaceutical industry and medical equipment industry are important pillars of health and health, which are directly related to the life and health of the people and the overall situation of comprehensive and high-quality development.However, the pharmaceutical industry is full of competition and challenges, where R&D investment has a significant impact on a company's profitability.This study selected 71 Chinese listed pharmaceutical companies as research objects and collected their financial data from 2013 to 2022. This study takes R&D investment intensity as the independent variable, net profit rate as the dependent variable, and controls debt ratio and enterprise scale to establish a regression model between variables, and analyzes the correlation between them. Then, robustness analysis is used to verify the credibility of the research results. Finally, it is concluded that R&D investment in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is significantly positively correlated with profitability, and increasing R&D investment is helpful to improve the profitability of enterprises.
