笔者在一所双语学校担任生涯辅导老师,学校生源来自不同国家,多数毕业后将去海外留学。学校在高中阶段就对学生进行相关引导,以兴趣、倾向和自生能力为基点,帮助学生选择他们喜欢的专业与适合的大学院校。一个个体如果能把兴趣、所学专业与未来职业相结合,无疑是件很幸福的事情。 高中生的生涯规划问题,越来越引起教育者的关注。但是,高中生的生涯规划意识仍显得薄弱。在一种家长制的文化氛围当中,学生在做各种决策面前,往往处于服从命令、接受指令的一方。甚至于,他们的生涯规划到底是自己完成的,还是由成人主导完成的?这个问题,目前还是一个黑箱。双语学校中的高中生是一个相对特殊的群体,他们接受国际化教育,享受优质教学资源。出于工作需求和好奇心,本研究试图通过对双语学校高中生的研究,探索高中生如何在生涯规划过程中平衡多种影响因素做出决策的问题。 本文高中生生涯规划决策的探究是指高中生在面对未来大学专业、院校选择和今后的职业方向选择时,有着内在的兴趣和清晰的规划,能够在外界力量(如教师、家长等)的影响下做出最适合自身的决定。学生在规划过程中有明确的选择目标和方法,并能对规划进行自我调整和控制,同时在遇到困难时也能够积极向外界力量请教,进而做出规划决策。 本研究选取D双语学校的高中生为研究对象,通过采用访谈法对3位双语学校学生进行个案研究,提供了拥有不同背景的高中生,对于生涯规划决策方面的个案。研究有如下主要的结论: 1、内外部力量通过相互作用影响高中生生涯规划。 2、不同力量从各自利益出发对生涯规划产生合力。 3、个体的自主性思考成为高中生生涯规划结果的最终决定力量。 总体来说,使个体较早地明确生涯规划的重要性能够为个体带来积极的影响,可以使个体在生涯发展的每个阶段都做出与其才能、期望和价值观一致的学业与职业决策,使他们对自己未来的生涯更加明晰,更有利于发挥主观能动性,实现人生的价值。
外文摘要:
The author works as a University and Career Counselor in a bilingual school. There are students from different countries and they will all choose to go aboard for universities after graduation. The school guides students on choosing proper college major and the fit universities based on their personal interests,potential from high school. It is undoubtedly an ideal path if an individual can combine his/her interest, major and future career together. The career planning of high school students has attracted more and more attention from educators. However,the sense of career planning to high school students is still weak. Do students make decisions on their own or are they driven by adults? The issue needs to be researched. Bilingual school students are a relatively special group,they accept international education philosophy,enjoy quality teaching resources. Out of need of work as well as self-curiosity,this study attempts to further explore how bilingual high school students make final career decision under different aspect of influences. The decision making in career planning of high school students refers to high school students having clear mindset when choosing their future major and potential career. They should be able to make best decisions under the influences from outside or others (eg. Teachers, parents). There will set clear goals and use right methods and also to adjust as well as control themselves in the whole process. Students are asking for help when meeting difficulties to complete the planning proactively. In this study, high school students from the ‘D’ Bilingual School were selected as the objects of study. Three cases of students were studied through interviews. Different students from different backgrounds provides different feedbacks. The research has reached the following conclusion: 1. Internal and external forces influence high school students’ career planning though interaction. 2. Different forces generate synergy from their own interests. 3. Individual’s independent thinking becomes the ultimate determine force of the career planning process. In general, making individuals aware of the importance of career planning at an early stage may have positive impact on individuals. It enables students to make academic and career decisions consistently with their talents expectations and values at every stage of their career development. It is helpful for a clearer future career and achieving the value of life.
