中国现代文学在越南摘 要本文旨在考察中国现代文学在越南译介与研究的情况,探寻中国现代文学在越南传播过程中所经历过越南社会的各种考验,并为之带来的社会效益。中国现代文学引入越南之后的研究情况,其研究成果以及社会环境对译介和研究工作所带来一些局限都是本文考察的主要内容。第一章介绍中国现代文学作家作品在越南译介和研究情况,通过越南二十世纪初的社会背景的分析,突出了中国现代文学传入越南的必要条件。当时越南文艺界都以“文艺为人生”作为文艺创作活动,从理论到实践创作,基本都集中挖掘世界上属于社会主义系统中的文艺作品的社会功用观,为越南革命服务。越南文艺界通过对中国现代文学作品的探索与研究,获得了有利于越南社会斗争的进步思想,运用到实践的社会斗争中。第二章集中考察越南对鲁迅与他的作品译介和研究情况。鲁迅是中国现代文坛上的一员猛将,他的作品中所反映的那些社会问题都是当时最关紧要的社会问题。在研究过程中,越南研究者把注意力集中在鲁迅思想与文学功用观之上,认为鲁迅是中国现代文坛上伟大的爱国主义文学家。鲁迅的作品深刻批判了“国民性”弱点,深刻地介入了各种政治思想斗争和文艺斗争。越南研究者认为,鲁迅思想的进步性和他作品的深刻性的结合,给他带来了文学史上的崇高地位和在现实生活中的广泛的知名度。在越南整个外国文学研究史上,鲁迅研究工作领先于对其他外国著名文学家的研究。与高尔基、雨果等外国文学家相比,研究成果还稍微领先一些。第三章主要考察曹禺与他的作品在越南译介和研究情况。曹禺作为中国现代文坛上最出色的剧作家被介绍到越南,他的话剧《雷雨》早就传入了越南,并多次被搬上舞台公演。在越南学术界的分析,曹禺前期的话剧带有反封建、个性解放等的思想内容,解放后的曹剧就更上一层楼,是充满着革命精神的文学作品。通过话剧《雷雨》和它被改编成改良剧之后在越南舞台上演的实况,充分体现了《雷雨》本身的深刻的思想内容以及无穷的艺术魅力。通过梳理中国现代文学在越南译介和研究情况,突出了越南对中国现代文学的探索的整个过程。这个探索过程虽然经历过种种起伏不平的艰难路程,但始终都不放弃过对中国文学,尤其是现代文学的学习、借鉴的信念。在研究成果基本取得了较好的成就。越南的中国现代文学研究还存在着明显的不足。政治环境对研究工作有着负面影响。1979年中越边界事件就直接造成了中国现代文学译介和研究工作的中止。文化视野不够宽阔,研究者对中国现代文学产生的历史语境理解得不够深入,对中国自新时期以来的研究成果也缺乏充分的借鉴。从译文研究中国现代文学的对象较普遍。翻译工作做得再好,但差错还是存在的,依据译本来研究当然难免发生一些偏离现象。关键词:越南、中国现代文学、鲁迅、曹禺、译介

MODERN CHINESE LITERATURE IN VIETNAMAbstractThis thesis aims to study the status of the translation work of, and the research on modern Chinese literature conducted in Vietnam, at the same time endeavours to investigate the Vietnamese society’s reply towards exposure to such foreign literary permeation and the subsequent positive impacts this particular Chinese literature may have brought about. The situation of the translation of modern Chinese literature and the research done on it after being introduced to Vietnam, together with the achievements made in this field and even the limitations exerted by the local social factors are amongst the principal points of discussion of this article.Chapter 1 briefly introduces the status of the translation work of, and the research on modern Chinese literature’s works as well as their authors in Vietnam and besides, seeks to present to readers, through analysis of Vietnamese social background in early 20th century, the requisite and the precondition required for the transmission of this literature. “Art for life’s sake” (as opposed to “Art for art’s sake”) at the time used to be the guideline for any creation activities in Vietnam. Be it in literary theory or in actual composition, the values and the outlook on society, exhibited by different socialist nations’ literatures, were very influential and were the well of inspiration for Vietnamese writers’ creations in service to the country’s revolution. Examination of modern Chinese literature exposed Vietnamese authors to the progressive thinking and what were deemed relevant to Vietnamese situation were subsequently employed by these people to apply into their social struggle.Chapter 2 focuses on the status of the translation of, and the research on the works of LuXun in Vietnam. Lu is a truly soaring writer in modern Chinese literature. His compositions faithfully portrayed the essential features that well characterized the then society. On the basis of his ideology and the utility of his writings, Lu is often considered a great patriotic author of modern Chinese literature. Lu’s works acutely criticize the shortcomings of China’s “national character” and thus intensively engaged in the political-ideological and artistic struggle of his time. Vietnamese scholars presume that the exquisite fusion between his radical philosophy and the highly accomplished artistic value has won him such a supreme position and a prestigious popularity in both the history of Chinese literature and the normal life. The study on his publications indeed accounts for a major composition of the collective studies that have been done on foreign literature in Vietnam so far and even exceeds those on notorious writers of the world literature for instance Gorky and Hugo.Chapter 3 intends to examine the translation and research situation of CaoYu - a highly distinguished playwright of modern Chinese literature - and his publications in Vietnam. CaoYu’s LeiYu was actually introduced into Vietnam and made itself to the stage very early. His early works mainly embraced anti-feudalism and advocated individual emancipation while post-liberation period witnessed a significant ideological elevation in CaoYu’s works that were over-brimmed with revolutionary spirit. The success of LeiYu and its subsequent adaptation to a more Vietnamese theatre performance style, namely Cai Luong, are the clear manifestation of its profound connotation and elegant artistic attribute.By exposing different aspects of the situation of the translation of modern Chinese literature and the research on this in Vietnam, this thesis wishes to present to readers a view on the Vietnamese researchers’ effort in exploring and studying this subdivision of Chinese literature. Despite numerous ups and downs, the determination to learn and acquire lessons from this foreign literary component has never been abandoned. Researching works have so far achieved many encouraging returns. Be that as it may, shortcoming still exists. In addition, the course of research is inevitably subject to the versatile nature of the political climate between the two countries and its negative impact. The 1979 Vietnamese-Chinese Border Event has essentially jeopardised and caused rather a disruption to the related activities. Limited by the constraints in political-cultural outlook, Vietnamese scholar confronted prominent difficulty in understanding the historical context characterized by modern Chinese literature, not to mention the their inaccessibility to Chinese research achievement in this field for reference and study purposes. Researching works were heavily dependent on translation pathway, which is invariably susceptible to uncertainty however well the translation work is conducted, and accordingly, divergence from reality is an inevitable phenomenon.Keyword: Vietnam, modern Chinese literature, LuXun, CaoYu, translation
