教师反馈作为教师话语的重要组成部分,具有提高教学效果、改善课堂气氛、改善师生关系的作用。自上世纪以来,教师反馈便是热点问题。许多研究者教师反馈的分类、现状和影响进行了研究。然而,对于英语课堂中教师反馈存在问题的原因,人们却没有给予足够的重视。因此,本研究旨在探讨这一问题,并对英语教学提出建议。希望本研究的发现能对相关研究有所帮助,并帮助教师反思自己反馈语的使用情况,从而达到提高教学效果的目的。
本研究通过课堂观察、问卷调查和访谈等方式进行。在研究过程中,笔者对教师和学生均进行了问卷调查。同时,教师访谈结果将作为辅助材料来探究问题原因。本研究主要有以下发现:第一,简单表扬、简单表扬加重复、重复是三种最常用的反馈。第二,英语课堂中反馈语存在的问题可以概括为:缺乏反馈的多样性和丰富性,学生缺乏自我修复的机会,及教师的自我认知不够准确。第三,通过访谈,笔者发现问题背后的原因可总结为:简单反馈十分直接并且便于学生理解;时间有限,教师不得不加快进程,因此简单地向学生反馈;有时不需要给出复杂反馈;教师的熟练程度不够。因此,考虑到上述原因,学校和教师自身都应采取措施改善这种状况。

Teacher feedback, an important component of teacher talk, has the function of improving teaching effect, classroom atmosphere, and the relationship between teachers and students. It has risen many scholars’ attention since last century. Many researchers have conducted studies on it, including the classification, the current situation, and the influence of teacher feedback. However, insufficient attention has been paid to the reasons of existing problems in English classrooms. Thus this study intends to address this problem and offer suggestions to English teaching, hoping that the findings of this study can offer some help to the related research, and help teachers introspect themselves on the use of feedback and improve teaching effect.
The research was conducted through classroom observation, questionnaire, and interview. And both teachers and students completed the questionnaires. Interview was conducted to teachers to as a supplementary equipment contributing to exploring reasons of existing problems. The following findings are obtained: firstly, simple praise, simple praise plus repetition, repetition are the three most frequently-used feedback. And the problems can be summarized as the lack of feedback diversity and richness, the lack opportunities for self-repair, and teachers’ inaccurate self-perception of feedback use. As for the reasons behind the problems are: the directness and understandability of simple feedback; limited time; the unnecessity of giving complex feedback; and the teachers’ insufficient English proficiency. Thus, considering the reasons above, the schools and teachers should take actions to improve this situation.
