字母词是现代汉语中一种新兴的词汇现象。近十年来，字母词问题已经成为语言学界关注和讨论的热点问题之一。随着字母词的广泛运用及其在汉语词汇系统中地位的提高，越来越多的词典开始收录字母词，而对字母词进入词典的相关问题也成了学者们关注的一个焦点。本文在总结和吸收前人学术研究成果的基础上，对字母词及其入典问题进行了比较全面、客观的研究。绪论部分在概述有关字母词的研究视角之后，总结了字母词研究的特点与不足，指出了本文穷尽性统计和对比分析的研究方法。第一章“字母词的基本研究”，首先归纳分析了当前学术界对字母词的定名和定性，然后从不同的角度给字母词加以分类，接下来交代了字母词的使用历史和现状，并结合前人研究，重点剖析了字母词词形和读音存在的问题，提出了“以标准的英文字母音为字母词的规范读音，以在研究、考察基础上确立的尾字母汉语声调为规范声调”的字母词读音规范建议。第二章和第三章分别从宏观和微观的角度分析了字母词入典的情况和存在的问题。第二章第一节介绍了现有词典收录字母词的数量和收词范围，提出了收录字母词的三大原则——必要性、普遍性和稳定性。后两节分别考察了各词典的排序和字母词词典的附录，并在综合分析各家的处理方式后提出了几点建议。第三章主要论述了词典对字母词词目的词形、注音、释义、引例以及用法提示。第一节说明了各类词典收录字母词的词形情况，着重探讨了异形词存在的问题和词形选用的原则。注音方面，本文建议遵循规范性和普遍性的原则。具体操作时，在凡例或附录表标题的脚注中，对字母词外文和数字部分的原文抄写加以说明；对于字母词的汉字部分、连读词目和其他已有国家规范的词目则逐条进行标注。第三节分别从释义方式、多义词与同形词、实际释义中存在的问题这三个方面进行了详述，并相应地对释义形式的统一、多义词与同形词的处理、义项的选用、缩略词中外文对译的准确性这几个具体问题给出了建议。第四节引例部分首先提出通俗易懂、引入信息的原则，然后结合这一原则详细地剖析了以《实用字母词词典》为代表的词典引例的特点和需要改进的地方。最后一节关于用法提示是单独列项还是融入释义、例句中，我们建议依据词典的规模来进行选择。

The lettered words are a kind of emerging vocabulary phenomena in the modern Chinese. For the past ten years, the lettered word has already become one of the hot topics attentioned and discussed in the academe. With the widespread utilization and the enhanced status of lettered words in the Chinese vocabulary system, more and more lettered words have been embodied in the dictionary, however, the relevant questions of the lettered words been embodied into the dictionary has also become a focal point that some of the academic scholars have been paying attention to. This article summarizes and absorbs the predecessor scholar research, and researches completely and objectively for the lettered words and its entering into dictionary issue. After summarizing the related lettered word research view in the introduction, the article concludes the lettered word research characteristic and the insufficiency, pointing out exhausts statistical and the contrastive analysis research method. Chapter I 'research of lettered words', firstly it analyses current academe's researches on the definition and nature of lettered words, then classify lettered word in different aspects; thirdly it states the usage history and current status of lettered words; anatomy the issues on the morphology and pronunciation of lettered word based on current status together with former researches , and then put forward the proposal "use the standard pronunciation of the English letter as the pronunciation of the lettered words, use the last letter's Chinese pronunciation which formed after research and review as the standard tone of lettered words" as the standard of lettered words' pronunciation. Chapter Ⅱand Ⅲ respectively analyze the situation of adding lettered words into dictionary and the existing problems. Section I in Chapter II recommends the number and scope of existing record words, which also makes mention of the three major principles of adding lettered words- necessity, universality and stability. The other two sections investigate the compositor from different kind of dictionaries and their appendix. After comprehensive analyzing of different treatment, these two sections also make a number of recommendations.
