过士行的剧作都带有哲理性的内涵。作家曾经提出过老庄与禅对其创作的影响。这篇论文主要分析过氏剧作中的庄子思想。过士行目前创作有八部戏:“闲人三部曲”——《鱼人》、《鸟人》、《棋人》,《坏话一条街》,“尊严三部曲”——《厕所》、《火葬场——活着还是死去》(“尊严三部曲”第三部正在写着),《青蛙》与《遗嘱》。过士行戏剧的多样性与非写实特点缘自现代社会的复杂性。过氏强调精神的重要性。他戏剧的目的是令观众获得精神觉醒。现代人应该从一元论的角度看待世界。庄子的想法也是世界上的对立是可以统一的。过氏对一元论的兴趣来自迪伦马特悖论的影响。过氏的人物寻找幸福,但还是得不到它。戏剧里的主人公追求理想都因没有做到适度而遇到了麻烦。过氏剧作中的主题都能跟庄子哲理性的原则连起来:大道、追求自由与快乐、天人合一、养生之道、生死观、顺其自然、一生如梦。过士行以艺术性与哲理性的观点描述人类生存的危机。他主要题材之一是环境保护与人类的前途。人类的“文明病”影响了大自然以至于导致了气候的恶化。另一个方面,“文明病”给人类带来了很多负面的作用,即“物质狂”、人性的异化、现代战争与全球化。这些要素让人身体上和精神上受到伤害与痛苦。生于乱世的庄子主张回归自然与过去。两千多年以后,在解决人类生存困境的问题上,过士行有比较悲剧性的态度。他已经明白了现代人不可能回归自然与过去,未来很渺茫,连作家也把握不到它。因此,他对未来感到忧虑。语言上他善于采用寓言与黑色幽默。寓言与“苦笑”也是庄子阐述大道万物的重要手法。过氏爱采取各种艺术手法:荒诞、怪诞、魔幻现实主义、鬼魂出现、自然主义等等。总的来看,过士行觉得现代人应该保护自己的精神,因为在面对现代化的过程中只有头脑清醒和精神觉醒才能帮人克服所有的困难和挑战。

All of Guo Shixing’s dramas have strong philosophical meaning. The writer has already noted that Daoism of Lao Zi and Zhuang Zi as well as Chan philosophy had significant influence on his works. This article mainly analyse Zhuang Zi’s influence on Guo Shixing’s dramas. Up to now Guo Shixing compiled 8 dramas: „Idlers Trilogy“ – „Fish-men“, „Bird-men“ and „Chess-men“, „The Street of Tales“, „Dignity Trilogy“ – „Toilet“, „Crematorium – To Be or Not to Be“ (the third play in this trilogy is being written at the moment), „Frog“ and „Testament“. The cause of variety and non-realism in Guo Shixing’s dramas is the complexity of modern society. Mr. Guo emphasises importance of our spirit. The aim of his dramas is to inspire spiritual awakening of the audience. Modern people should start to look on this world from the point of monism. Zhuang Zi also believes that in this world unification of antinomies could be achieved. Mr. Guo’s interest in monism comes from Direnmat’s paradoxical theory. Mr. Guo’s characters seek for happiness, but cannot find it. Main characters in dramas pursue their ideals without moderation, and that is the reason why they get in trouble. Main topics of Mr. Guo’s dramas can be linked with Zhuang Zi’s philosophic principia such as: Dao, pursuit for freedom and joy, Unity of nature and man, Dao of life preservation, life and death concept, natural law obedience, life is dreamlike. Guo Shixing looks on the humankind existential crisis from the artistic and philosophic point of view. His main themes are environmental protection and mankind perspective. „Civilization illness“ influenced nature and resulted in climate worsening. On the other hand, „civilization illness“ brought many other negative effects to mankind, namely „goods-addiction“, dissimilation of human nature, modern wars and globalization. These factors made people bodily and mentally suffer. Zhuang Zi was born in the chaotic society, and he proposed people to return to nature and past as a solution. After more than 2000 years, considering the question of mankind existential dire straits, Guo Shixing is very pessimistic. He already knows that modern people cannot go back to past or return to nature, while the future is so vague, even the writer cannot predict what will happen in the next days. For this reason, he is very worried about the future. Regarding language, Mr. Guo is good at adopting allegory and black humor to his dramas. Allegory and „bitter smile“ are also Zhuang Zi’s important techniques when he explains Dao and world. Mr. Guo likes to apply all sorts of artistic techniques: absurd, grotesquery, magic realism, ghosts appearance, naturalism, etc. Generally speaking, Guo Shixing thinks that modern people should protect the spirit, since in the process of facing the modernization there are only clear-headedness and spirit arousal that can help people to overcome all the difficulties and challenges.
