We give the equivalent condition for the finiteness of the real order moment of the return time of the Markov chains in this thesis,which include positively recurrent discrete time Markov chains,non-recurrent discrete time Markov chains,positively recurrent continuous time Markov chains,non-recurrent continuous time Markov chains,and give the proof.Finally,relevant results applied to the above conclusions are presented,which is the equivalent condition for the finiteness of the real order moment of the return time of the Markov chains which are coupled by two positively recurrent continuous time Markov chains,and some relevant examples are given.
