新时代背景下，语文教育越来越重视学生核心素养的提高，最新颁布的《义务教育语文课程标准（2022年版）》也再次强调培养学生对于中华优秀传统的文化自信，并将“文化自信”作为解读“语文核心素养”基本内涵的首要维度，这对弘扬中华传统文化具有重要的指导意义。而《孟子》作为中华优秀传统文化的重要元素，在初中语文教材中始终占据重要地位，因此，探究《孟子》教学的方式、内容以及实施过程对于树立学生文化自信、弘扬优秀中华传统文化具有不可或缺的积极作用和重要现实意义。

基于此，本文重点探究《孟子》选文的教学方法和教学实施过程，为了充分达到这一研究目的，本文通过分析初中语文《孟子》选文的百年选编史，深入研究《孟子》选文百年选编变迁的总体特征，总结其对于当下统编版《孟子》初中语文教学的启示和可以改善的方向。为突出典型性、代表性，针对初中教材的《孟子》选文，筛选出6位具有对比价值的教学课例，首先这些课例的实施者都是优秀教师，首先对6名教师的课例进行分组，随后对《得道多助，失道寡助》《生于忧患，死于安乐》以及《鱼我所欲也》的教学课例进行比较研究，分析不同老师在进行不同《孟子》选文教学时，其在教学目标、教学内容以及课堂组织实施方面的异同。发现目前《孟子》选文教学存在的不足主要表现在教学目标缺乏对于文化内涵的挖掘，教学内容缺乏对于培养审美鉴赏能力的环节，教学方式上较为单一，导致这些不足的主要原因是教师教学理念的落后。最后，对于这些问题的解决，笔者有针对性地提出深挖文化内涵、丰富教学方式、培育核心素养三方面的《孟子》选文教学的建议，整个研究过程对于一线初中《孟子》选文的教学起到一定的借鉴意义。
