极地海冰是气候系统的重要组成部分,研究海冰变化对于极地综合科学调查具有重要意义。本文基于2000-2017年南极普里兹湾海冰MODIS时序数据,研究了海湾海冰的面积分布特征和运动特征。结果表明:海冰面积具有明显季节变化,2月份海冰面积最小,10月份海冰面积最大,近陆地海冰常年冻结不融。海冰面积从2000-2017年整体上呈上升趋势。利用SIFT算法匹配时间相邻影像的同名点,计算海冰运动速度,结果表明:算法自动识别结果准确度高;海冰运动方向与距离陆地远近有关,靠近陆地的海冰运动速度的西方向分量大于远陆地速度西方向分量,北方向分量小于远陆地速度北方向分量。
外文摘要:
Long-term MODIS data of daily sea ice extent are used to study Antarctic Prydz Bay sea ice area change trend and motion characteristics in one year and between years from 2000 to 2017. The results indicate that, sea ice area vary with temperature during the year, it shrank to its lowest point in the summer and expand to its highest in the winter. Besides, there are clearly interannual change of Prydz Bay sea ice, and its area index appears uptrend from 2000 to 2017. Sea ice spatial pattern also change during the year. in October, sea ice covers the whole bay, but in February, sea ice is only distributed near Antarctic continent. This study also calculated velocity and direction of sea ice motion by Scale Invariant Feature Transform algorithm, and the results show that, automatic recognition results are high precision. There are correlation between sea ice velocity and how far sea ice is far from continent. The westerly velocity component speed near the continent are higher than far from the continent, and the northerly velocity component speed near the continent are lower than far from the continent.
