While traditional humanities and social sciences emphasize the object status of animals, the ontological turn inspires us to pay attention to the subjectivity of non-human species such as animals. From the perspective of "weaving", this study analyzes and presents the relationship between hunters and hounds as mutual subjects, and explores the possibilities of the relationship between humans and animals as equals. The main text includes three parts. The first chapter introduces the historical and cultural overview of Xiasi and the basic information of Xiasi Dogs. The second chapter describes the process and techniques of hounds domestication by hunters, which is divided into three stages: selecting, training and using. The third chapter analyzes the weaving relationship between hunters and hounds from three dimensions: hunters are the prerequisite for the existence of hounds, and hounds are also shaping the identity and regulating the behavior of hunters; people and hounds jointly create the stable and peaceful space of their homes, and explore the mountains and forests full of uncertainties; hunters construct the various connections between hounds and their surroundings, and hounds also play an important role in the connection between people and between people and mountains. In their daily interactions and practices, hunters and hounds entangle and weave each other, shaping the world together.
