"Diversity and unity of the Chinese nation" conforms to the main melody of The Times of equality, unity, exchange and mutual assistance among all ethnic groups. Meanwhile, its characteristics have become an important content of history teaching in junior and senior high schools. Based on the characteristics of "the diversity and unity of the Chinese nation", this paper conducts a segment teaching design for the first lesson "the origin of Chinese civilization and the early countries" in the Outline of Chinese and Foreign History (I). It is mainly divided into three parts. The first part summarizes the connotation and formation stage of "the Chinese nation's pluralistic unity". The second part explains the "plurality" and "unity" of the origin of Chinese civilization. The third part aims at the teaching design of the origin of Chinese civilization involved in this lesson.
