本文以《时尚COSMO》为个体案例,研究女性时尚杂志中被建构的女性形象,并得出《时尚COSMO》塑造的女性形象以具有一定消费能力的年龄段为主,且具有双性化气质的特征。并通过文本分析法,总结了独立、自信的新时代女性形象、美貌与智慧并存的女性形象、专注事业,渴望成功的“女强人”形象三个女性形象特质。 通过对《时尚COSMO》中女性形象的研究和分析,文章以社会、商业、媒介三个角度分析时尚杂志中女性形象如何被建构,分别从女性自我意识的觉醒、父权社会仍占主导、时尚杂志的经济利益本质、时尚杂志生产者的价值导向、拟态环境的制造与“沉默的螺旋”等因素进行论述。 最后,论文对时尚杂志呈现的女性形象做总结和反思,发现女性时尚杂志中女性形象的进步之处在于多元化的女性之美和以解答女性成长的共同困惑为中心;女性时尚杂志中女性形象的欠缺之处则是过于完美的女超人形象和随处可见的矛盾话语。 |

"COSMOPOLITAN" is a integrative fashion magazine which not only involves about the fashion information and beauty guidance but also there are a lot of interviews, thematic section, life guidance and other helpful text on the study of female image.The magazine has a history of more than ten years, so the time span is enough to investigate the image change process of female group.As the first truly local fashion magazine independently published by China Tourism Association, it is closer to China's actual national conditions, concentrating, truly and accurately showing the status of Urban women in China in various periods.Since its inception in 1993, COSMOPOLITAN has always occupied a certain position among the top fashion magazines in China.It is a cutting-edge publication for white-collar women in the new era to know fresh fashion information, and also a mentor to accompany women on their growth path. It provides them with opinions and suggestions on career, emotion, entertainment, clothing and other fields through equal and boudoir communication. Taking COSMOPOLITAN as an individual case, this paper studies the female images constructed by women's fashion magazines, and draws a conclusion that the female images are mainly of age group with certain consumption ability, and have the characteristics of bisexual temperament.Through text analysis, the author summarizes three female image characteristics: independent and confident female image of the new era, beautiful and intelligent female image, focus on career and eager to succeed of "superwoman" image. Through the research and analysis of the female image in COSMOPOLITAN, the paper analyzes how the female image is constructed in fashion magazines from three perspectives: the awakening of female self-consciousness, patriarchal society is still predominant, the essence of economic interests of fashion magazines, the value orientation of fashion magazine producers, the fabrication of mimicry environment and "silent spiral" are discussed. Finally, the paper summarizes and reflects on the female images presented by fashion magazines, and finds that the progress of female images reproduced in women's fashion magazines is the diversified beauty of women and focuses on solving the common puzzles of female growth.The problem of female image representation in female fashion magazines is the over-perfect superwoman image and contradictory words are everywhere in fashion magazines. |
