Since the reform and opening up, with the comprehensive progress of our society and the rapid development of the economy, the phenomenon of ethnic exchanges and integration has become increasingly prominent. The Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, as an important ethnic region in the northeastern border of China, is particularly noteworthy for its process of ethnic communication, exchange, and integration. This process not only demonstrates the vivid practice of the diverse integration of the Chinese nation, but also reflects the continuous innovation and progress of our party in ethnic policies. The ethnic exchange and integration in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture is a complex and diverse process, which includes the exchange and integration of various ethnic cultures, as well as the mutual benefit and win-win development of the economy and society. It also reflects the deep cooperation and common progress of various ethnic groups in politics, economy, culture, and other aspects.

This paper will systematically sort out and summarize the main contents and relevant theoretical policies of the CPC to promote exchanges and exchanges between ethnic groups in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture since the reform and opening up. This paper consists of seven chapters. The first chapter mainly elaborates the ideological origin and main content of the CPC's theory of national exchanges and exchanges. The second chapter mainly describes and analyzes the evolution of the CPC's national policy since the reform and opening up, and analyzes the historical inevitability of the emergence of the idea of national exchanges and exchanges from a historical macro perspective.
