进入信息化时代，互联网的发展催生了各种社交媒体的成长，极大便利了人们的沟通，获得广大网民的青睐。而随着越来越多的人选择通过网络交流，网络用语，尤其是网络聊天室会话用语，引起了国内外语言学家的广泛关注。许多语言学家以雅虎通、ICQ等网络聊天室为例，从文体特征、话轮转换、词汇等方面对其进行了较为全面系统的分析和讨论。但作为当前全球用户最多的聊天软件之一，微信尚未引起学者们的深入研究。因此，本文将从语用学角度出发，对微信中的语言现象进行初步探讨。

本文旨在分析真实微信对话中违背合作原则的现象，探究会话者以何种方式违背了合作原则，剖析其违反这一原则的目的和动机，并讨论违背行为对语意传达、聊天氛围等方面的影响。文章首先对网络语言和聊天室语言的定义、特征和影响进行了简要介绍，在回顾了格莱斯合作原则理论、会话含义及对合作原则的违背之后，运用违反格莱斯四准则的理论来深入分析微信会话实例，从而达到研究目的。

通过研究，本文发现人们在微信会话中违反合作原则的情形与在面对面交流时有很大不同。线上聊天的空间距离、网络聊天室的自身属性特征及会话者的动机目的等，都使得微信中对合作原则的违反呈现出独特的形式和原因。

In the information age, the development of the Internet has spurred the growth of various social media, which have brought great convenience to people’s communication, and therefore been widely welcome by netizens. As more and more people choose to communicate through the Internet, computer-mediated communication (CMC), especially chat room conversation, has attracted widespread attention from linguists at home and abroad. Many linguists take online chat rooms such as Yahoo Messenger and ICQ as examples to deeply analyze the stylistic features, turn-taking pattern, and lexical characteristics of it. But as one of the most popular chat softwares, WeChat has not yet caused in-depth research by scholars. Therefore, this thesis will make a preliminary discussion of the language phenomenon in WeChat from the perspective of pragmatics.

This study is aimed at analyzing the violation of the Cooperative Principle in real WeChat dialogues, exploring how the maxims are violated, discussing interlocutors’ purposes or the reasons of the violations, and presenting the influence the violations bring to conversations. The thesis first briefly introduces the definition, characteristics, and influence of CMC and chat room conversation. Then the theory of Cooperative Principles, conversational implicature, and the violation of CP have been reviewed. And finally, the examples selected from WeChat are analyzed from the perspective of the four maxims respectively to achieve research purposes.

Through this study, it has been found that situations of violating Cooperative Principle in WeChat conversations are quite different from those in face-to-face communication. The spatial distance when people chat online, the attributes and characteristics of online chat rooms and the motivation and purposes of interlocutors all contribute to the unique forms and reasons of violating CP in WeChat conversations.
