就题材而言,“70后”作家小说大致可分为成长小说、城市小说、乡土小说、类通俗小说四类。1、“70后”作家的成长小说数量较大,表现出心理时间凝固、传记时间占主导地位、主体性孱弱、道德观念稳健等共同特征。2、“70后”作家的城市小说多属以现代都市为背景的“情色冒险”叙事,很少有作品能传达出丰富的都市经验。精华部分是那些写现城市外来者等边缘人的作品,表现了现代都市的精神困境:自由与失重之间的困惑、物质对精神的挤压、感性经验的追求与安全意识之间的悖谬、文明与野蛮的搏击,等等。3、“70后”作家的乡土小说可分为历史主义和价值主义两种类型。前者大致包括思想启蒙、历史反思和现实批判三种倾向,弱点是介入社会生活的深度和广度都非常有限;后者带有明显的“怀旧”倾向,或表现出对自然文化的心仪,或表现出对传统人格的崇尚。“70后”乡土小说表现出主要弱点是创作者缺乏强劲的主体性。4、“70后”作家的类通俗小说深受市场吸引,此类作品在故事模式和叙事技巧方面广发借鉴各类通俗小说,虽有“翻俗为雅”之作,但大部分作品表现出媚俗倾向。“70后”小说的总体审美特征如下:一是回归现实主义。具体表现为题材空前丰富,“经验”相对薄弱;缺乏整体性历史观念,着力还原历史片段;疏远政治意识形态,有节制地表现底层苦难;精神世界缺席,人物形象干瘪,等等。二是价值多元,总体上呈现出保守倾向,具体表现为媚俗化的中产阶级趣味、孱弱的人文精神、向传统文化和宗教文化归附等精神向度。三是感伤主义情调。四是在叙事上大部分长篇小说局限在狭小的男女关系圈子里逡巡,而魏微、李师江、乔叶等少数作家形成了自己独特的话语方式。

Concerning the theme, the “Post 70s” fictions can be broadly divided into four categories: the Bildungsroman, the urban fiction, the rural fiction and the popular fiction. 1) The “Post 70s” writers have a lot of Bildungsroman. In these fictions, mental time maintains a stationary state, biographical time possesses dominant position, subjectivity is very fragile and moral point of view is moderate. 2) Most of the “Post 70s” urban fictions put the modern urban as the background of the "erotic adventure" narrative. They fail to exhibit the rich urban life. Few works can show a variety of urban experience. The essence of the works lies in the narrative of those who migrated to the cities. They represent the spiritual predicament in the modern city:the confusion between freedom and weightlessness, the exclusion of substance on spirit, the contradiction between the desire needs and security requirements, the struggle between civilization and barbarism, and so on. 3)The rural fiction can be divided into two types:the historicism local fiction and the poetry local fictions. The former includes three tendencies:enlightenment, historical reflection and realistic criticism. Their weakness is not well reflecting the reality. The latter shows how people worship culture of naturalism, or how people respect traditional personality. The main weakness of the “Post 70s” local fictions is the creators are lack of strong subjectivity. 4) Obviously, the popular fiction is deeply affected by the market. Its story modes and narrative skills draw extensively on the popular fiction. Most of these works show the kitsch tendencies. The overall aesthetic characteristics of the “Post 70s” Fictions are as follows:First, the “Post 70s” Fictions return to realism. The subject matter is very complicated, but the "experience" is relatively weak;They made effort to restore the historical fragments while lack integrity ideas of history. They describe the suffering life of the underlying people and meanwhile stay away from political ideology; Their works lack of the spiritual world, the characters are not vivid, and so on. Second, their works present a conservative tendency, some show kitsch tendencies,Some works show the humanitarian spirit is weak, some works have a tendency to return to religion, culture and traditional culture. Third, the “Post 70s” Fictions have the sentimental mood. Fourth, most of the fictions write only the relationship between men and women, except Weiwei, Li Shijiang, Qiaoye and a few other writers who have formed its own unique mode of discourse.

 翟文铖,男,1970年生,山东曲阜市人。1991年9月至1993年6月,在山东师范大学外语系攻读英国语言文学专业。在中学工作五年后,1998年9月入曲阜师范大学中文系读中国现当代文学专业硕士研究生,2001年6月获硕士学位。毕业后留校任教,2002年评为讲师。2004年9月考入山东师范大学攻读现当代文学专业博士研究生,2007年6月获得博士学位。毕业后回曲阜师范大学从事中国当代文学教学科研工作,2009年1月晋升为副教授,2010年被聘为硕士生导师。2010年7月至2012年9月在北京师范大学汉语言文学专
