随着两岸交流的日益密切，大陆与台湾的教育发展状况引起了越来越多的关注；目前已经有许多研究着眼于两岸教材和教育系统的比较研究。在两岸的教育体系中，大学入学考试都发挥着非常重要的作用。在大陆，大学入学考试的形式是全国高考，在台湾是学科能力测验和指定科目考试。虽然已有不少针对其中英语考试的分析，但缺乏对于阅读测试的系统分析。本文以近十年的英语考试中单项选择阅读材料为分析材料，从文本长度、易读度和主题三个角度进行对比分析。在易读度分析中以弗雷奇易读度公式为工具进行了数据比较，通过可视化图表的形式将比较结果展示，从而对两岸高考英语阅读材料的特点和异同点进行归纳总结。从分析结果中可以看出全国高考、学科能力测验和指定科目考试的阅读材料从难度上来说呼应了它们在考核方面的目的，在题材选择上面，全国I卷所涵盖的主题比较丰富，面向于绝大多数考生的大陆高考和学科能力测验有着比较多的相似性，而旨在选拔相应专业学生的指定科目考试在难度和长度上明显加大。本文为两岸的大学入学考试英语阅读提供了一个比较全面和客观的比较，为将来的高考英语科目改革提供一个参考。

With the more and more frequent communication between both sides of the Taiwan Straits, education in Mainland and Taiwan has attracted more and more attention, and there has been a quantity of comparative study on textbooks and education system in Mainland and Taiwan. No matter in which side of the Taiwan Straits, college entrance examination plays an important role in selecting qualified students for specific majors in higher education. In Mainland, there is the National College Entrance Examination, and in Taiwan, there are Scholastic Achievement Test and Department Required Test. Scholars have focused on the English tests in these tests in different aspects such as the different forms or the cloze test, while the reading test has not be analyzed systematically. This study focuses the reading tests with multiple-choice questions and makes comparison between reading materials in National Matriculation English Test (NMET) in Mainland, Scholastic Achievement English Test (SAET) and Department Required English Test (DRET) in Taiwan. The comparison is done through three aspects: length, readability and topic choice. The study takes Flesch reading ease as an instrument to assess the readability and shows results with visual diagrams. Through the analysis, the features of reading tests in NMET, SAET and DRE are analyzed. It proves that Reading materials in have proper length, readability and topics and serve the purposes of different tests. The conditions of National Matriculation English Test and Scholastic Achievement English Test are similar for both of them are tests taken by most candidates and aimed at assessing reading ability of candidates. The reading materials in Department Required English Test have longer length and lower readability. National Matriculation English Test has a wide range of topic choices. This study offers a comprehensive view of materials in reading tests in Mainland and Taiwan and can be a reference for future reform in English reading test in the college entrance examination.
