宗族文化是民间文化的重要组成部分,而家谱则是宗族文化的重要载体之一。在中国的宗族内，修谱是全族的大事，是人们追根溯源、传承家族、体现祖先崇拜的方式，修谱过程离不开人们的积极配合。修谱活动一般分为以下几个步骤：成立修谱委员会，交费，修谱和颁谱。本论文通过对世代生活在河南省焦作市及附近地区的姬姓宗族修谱活动的考察，从“认同”的角度出发，来分析焦作姬姓宗族中修谱活动是如何来维系“各门”的文化认同的。笔者经过长期的田野作业和跟踪访谈，与宗族内主要修谱负责人建立了密切联系，获取了丰富的第一手资料，同时结合宗族内其他成员的访谈资料和历史文献记载，尽可能真实地还原焦作姬姓乃至全国姬姓宗族的修谱的历程。在中国人的观念中血缘意识，根的意识占有很重要的地位，从某种意义上讲，家谱就是他们“根”的最典型的代表之一。但是笔者在调查中发现，在这种源生性意识形态背后，修谱活动中还包有许多其他原因与目的。尤其在当代的社会转型、利益多元化时期，修谱过程中充斥着不同利益群体和个人的较量和抗衡，但又共同推动着修谱活动的继续进行。笔者通过对发生在当代社会的修谱大会地详尽记录，希望展现当今修谱活动的古今差异，并且表达笔者如下观点：宗族其实存在于成员的归属感和认同之中，各种宗族活动不过是满足宗族与成员间相互认同的外在形式。认同其实是一种原生性情感，它可以跨越时间和空间进行传承，但它的维持方式和延续状态也会随着经济和政治资源的重新分配而改变。

Patriarchal clan culture is an important part of folk culture, and genealogy is one of important carriers of patriarchal clan culture. In a Chinese clan, genealogy compiling is a great event of the whole clan, a way people tracing origins, inheriting the family and presenting ancestor worship. It is a process needing a positive teamwork. The genealogy compiling activity generally includes the following steps: establishing a genealogy compiling committee, paying, genealogy compiling and genealogy issuing. By investigating the genealogy compiling activities of Ji-surname clan living in Jiaozuo City, Henan Province and vicinity for generations, the paper analyzes how the genealogy compiling activity of Ji-surname clan in Jiaozuo maintains the cultural identity of branches from the perspective of identity. Through long-term field work and tracking interviews, the writer have established close ties with genealogy compiling principals in the clan and got abundant first-hand data. Meanwhile, the writer combined the interview data from other clan members and historical documents & records to reconstruct the genealogy compiling course of Ji-surname clan in Jiaozuo and even in China as accurate as possible. Chinese have a blood-relationship consciousness in which the root is of great importance. In a sense, the genealogy is one of the most typical representatives of the “root” of people. Under investigation, the writer found that a genealogy compiling activity contained many other causes and purposes behind the originating ideology. Especially, in current multi-interest period of social transformation, the genealogy compiling activity is full of contests and rivalries of different interest groups and individuals who push the activity to proceed jointly at the same time. By recording the genealogy compiling meeting in modern society in details, the writer hopes to display the differences between the ancient and modern genealogy compiling activities and express the following points: the clan actually exists in the sense of belonging and identity of members, and various clan activities are only external forms to meet the mutual identity of clan and members. The identity is an originating emotion which can be inherited across time and space, but its way of maintenance and continuing state will change with the redistribution of economic and political resources.
