This paper takes the teaching design of the Pythagorean theorem as an example, combining with the study of the curriculum standard and the textbook and the related mathematical history literature, analyzes how to design the teaching of the discovery of Pythagorean theorem based on the predecessors, and integrates the mathematical history material into the teaching of the Pythagorean theorem. So that students can grasp the proof method of Pythagorean theorem, and skillfully use this theorem to solve practical problems for teaching purposes, design teaching cases. And through the examples, exercises, reading materials and other ways in the classroom teaching into the mathematical history elements, so as to improve the students ' attraction, To improve the efficiency of the classroom. By comparing with the traditional teaching mode, this paper analyzes the advantages of the classroom teaching of joining the history of mathematics to help students learn the Pythagorean theorem. And adding the Pythagorean theorem of the history of mathematics to the students to learn this part of the role of the promotion.
