基础设施通过为民众谋求福祉而成为一个国家的基础权力，也由此成为了地缘政治力量追求的目标。中国通过“一带一路”项目在马来西亚投资了东铁项目，除了能够改善马来西亚的基础设施，也能在一定程度上缓解“马六甲困局”。本研究基于流行地缘政治理论和文本分析方法，对民众在推特上发布的数据进行文本内容的高词频和情感情绪统计，按照“对马来西亚的地缘政治影响”、“对马来西亚的地缘经济影响”、“对中国的地缘政治影响”、“对东铁项目的认知与评价”和“东铁的建设进程”等5个维度进行归类，探讨马来西亚民众对于中国投资的东铁的地缘政治想象及对政府政策提出建议。

Infrastructure has become the basic power of a country by seeking the welfare and benefit for the people, and thus has become the goal pursued by geopolitical forces. The China has invested the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project in Malaysia under the Belt and Road Initiative. In addition to improving Malaysia's infrastructure, ECRL can also relieve Malacca Dilemma to some extent. Based on popular geopolitical theories and textual analysis methods, this paper conducted statistics on high frequency of words and emotional and sentiment of content on the tweets content published by twitter users. The text content is categorized into five dimensions such as "Geopolitical Impact on Malaysia", "Geo-economics Impact on Malaysia", "Geopolitical Impact on China", "Cognition and Evaluation of ECRL" and "Construction Process of ECRL". Based on the above analysis, this paper discusses the geopolitical imagination of the Malaysian people on the ECRL invested by China and puts forward suggestions on the government policies.
