城市等级体系与经济发展之间存在重要的相互作用。诸多国内外学者都曾围绕城市等级体系及其划分方法开展过研究与讨论,然而少有利用与地方经济发展有着密切联系的上市企业总部数据对我国城市等级体系划分及演变进行探讨。本文利用2006年至2020年隔年的中国上市企业总部数据,计算城市的控制与支配指数(CCI),分析上市企业数量与城市CCI的分布格局,并依据CCI划分城市等级体系,探究其时空变化特征及影响因素。结果表明:中国城市上市企业总部及控制与支配能力的总体分布格局接近,东南沿海优势大于中西部,且在京津冀、长三角、珠三角城市群形成三处形成显著的较高聚集,城市上市企业总部数量与CCI呈一定的显著相关关系;中国上市企业总部总数不断增多,全国的经济都有整体的正向发展,且北京与其他城市间的差距不断缩小;基于CCI的城市等级体系划分结果中四个等级的城市数量呈金字塔型数量分布结构,东西差异明显;城市的位序等级体系时空格局由多因素共同作用,包括城市的行政级别与地方发展战略、具体产业的发展对地方的带动、主导行业的“稳定性”与“脆弱性”等。与以往研究相比,本文将数据年份延伸至最近可获得的2020年,使研究更具时效性,并且运用8个年份的数据进行分析相较于只选用单一时段或两个时段更能准确反映城市CCI及等级体系的时空格局;利用CCI数据划分城市等级更加注重企业的控制与支配作用及不同城市企业间的差异关系且能够减少自然地理因素带来的误差,使划分结果更为合理且有价值;探讨城市等级时空变化的影响因素,令分析不再局限于时空演变机制,研究进一步深入且贴近实际。 |

There is an important interaction between urban hierarchy and economic development. Many domestic and foreign scholars have conducted studies and discussions on city hierarchies and their classification methods, but few have explored the classification and evolution of city hierarchies in China using data on the headquarters of listed enterprises, which are closely related to local economic development. Using data on the headquarters of Chinese listed enterprises in alternate years from 2006 to 2020, this paper calculates the control and command index (CCI) of cities, analyzes the distribution pattern of the number of listed enterprises and the CCI of cities, and divides the city hierarchy based on CCI to explore its spatial and temporal change and influencing factors. The results show that the overall distribution pattern of the headquarters of listed enterprises and control and command ability in Chinese cities is close, with the advantage of the southeast coast being greater than that of central and western China, and a significantly higher aggregation is formed in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, and Pearl River Delta city clusters; the number of headquarters of listed enterprises in cities has a certain significant correlation with CCI; the total number of headquarters of listed enterprises in China is increasing, and there is an overall positive economic development in the whole country with the gap between Beijing and other cities narrowing; the number of cities in the four classes in the CCI-based city hierarchy division results in a pyramidal number distribution structure, with obvious differences between east and west; the spatio-temporal pattern of the city hierarchy is a combination of multiple factors, including the administrative level of the city and local development strategies, the development of specific industries to drive the local area, the "stability" and "vulnerability" of leading industries, etc. Compared with previous studies, this paper extends the data year to the latest available year of 2020, which makes the study more current, and the analysis using eight years of data can more accurately reflect the spatial and temporal patterns of urban CCI and hierarchy than using only a single period or two periods. The use of CCI data to classify urban hierarchies focuses more on the command and control ability of enterprises and the different relationships between enterprises in different cities and reduces the errors caused by physical geographical factors, making the classification results more reasonable and valuable. By exploring the factors influencing the spatial and temporal changes in urban hierarchy, the analysis is no longer limited to the spatial and temporal evolution mechanism, and the study is further deepened and closer to reality. |
