本文以阿来的长篇小说《云中记》为主要研究对象，将其置于“现代性”的视野中加以考察。本文认为《云中记》的“现代性”意味主要呈现为现代化造就的“现代性环境”和与之相伴而生的“现代性体验”。首先，本文从小说中的叙事空间着手，发现云中村的空间由于现代文明的浸染和突如其来的地震发生全方位“断裂”，将依附于其中的族群抛向巨变交织的“现代性环境”。在裂隙丛生的“现代性环境”中，云中村祭师阿巴矛盾而混杂的多重身份集中反映了云中村民在现代社会中以认同“断裂”为特征的“现代性体验”。基于对《云中记》“现代性意味”的分析，本文梳理了阿巴返乡-安魂-祭山-殉村的回归之路，并在“甥舅一体”的血缘关系中讨论了阿巴与仁钦形象的“中介属性”，指出作者阿来介于“现代性”与“反现代性”之间的“现代性态度”和小说《云中记》的独特意义。

This paper takes A Lai’s novel “A Memoir in the Clouds” as the main object of study, and puts it into the perspective of “modernity”. It is argued that “modernity” in the novel is mainly presented as the “modern environment” created by modernization and the “modern experience” that comes along with it. Starting from the narrative space of the novel, this paper finds that the space of Yunzhong Village ruptured in all directions due to the immersion of modern civilization and the sudden earthquake, which throws the communities into the “modern environment” interwoven with great changes. In such an environment, the contradictory and mixed identities of Aba, the priest of Yunzhong Village, centrally reflect the “modern experience” of Yunzhong villagers. Finally, based on the analysis of “modernity” in the novel, this paper combs through the return path of Aba to his hometown and discusses the intermediary attributes of the images of Aba and Rinchen in the blood relationship of “nephew and uncle”, thus pointing out that the author A Lai’s attitude towards modern phenomenon and the unique significance of the novel.
