Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) play an important economic role on employment opportunity, income generation and poverty reduction. Therefore, 100 samples of the small enterprise were selected using a stratified proportional random sampling technique, from which the required data were generated and analyzed employing the descriptive and exploratory research design. The data was analyzed descriptively and presented through figures, tables and percentages. The results suggest that; the evaluation of interpersonal skills has the potential to have a positive effect on MSE development; lack of planning, poor management skills, Lack of use of technology, and poor cash management and Lack of access to market have been found to have a negative and important impact on MSE development.

The aim of the study was to identify factors that affecting the growth of micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in the bureau city administration and whether if interpersonal skill factors affect the growth of MSEs. Find a solution and draw up some recommendations that will help to minimize MSEs. Problems and promote the growth and expansion of the activities of the sector.
