语法作为一种语言法则,突出强调语言形式和语言规律。不少学者认为教师应当采用合适的教学方法对学生进行语法知识的讲解,从而帮助学生提高语言学习水平。然而,目前学校的英语语法教学还是存在问题。部分教师反复讲解规则,学生既要背下规则又要做大量的练习题。也有教师完全不讲解语法,而只关注语言内容的本身。两种教学方式都不利于学生英语语法的学习。

情境教学法作为一种联系语法和生活的教学方式,受到了学者以及教师的欢迎。但是关于初中学段的类似研究与实践仍非常有限。本研究将情境教学法应用于英语语法课堂,开展了为期三个月的行动研究,旨在探究将情境教学法应用于初中英语语法课堂是否能有效提高学生的英语语法能力。本研究的数据收集方式包括调查问卷、测试、访谈和教学日志等。

通过对数据的整理分析得出,将情境教学法应用于初中英语语法课堂能有效提高学生的语法能力,具体体现在形式、意义和运用均有所提高。最后,本研究总结了将情境教学法应用于英语语法课堂的一些建议,为以后的语法教学提供了启示。

外文摘要:

Grammar, as a language rule, emphasizes language forms and rules. Many scholars believe that teachers should use appropriate teaching methods to explain grammar knowledge to students, which will help students enhance their language skills. However, in English grammar teaching, there are still some problems in schools. Some teachers explain the rules repeatedly, and students have to memorize the rules and do a lot of exercises. There are also teachers who do not explain grammar at all, but only focus on language content itself. Both methods are not helpful for learning grammar.

Situational language teaching, as a teaching method that links grammar and life, has been welcomed by scholars and teachers. However, the similar research and practice about junior high school are still very limited. In this study, the researcher used situational language teaching in the  class and the research lasted three months. This study aims to explore whether students’ grammar ability will be improved after using situational language teaching in English grammar class. In this study, research data was collected by questionnaires, tests, interviews and teaching journal.

Through the analysis of the data, the results show that students’ grammar ability can be improved after using situational language teaching in English grammar class, concretely reflected in the form, meaning and use are improved. Finally, this study summarizes some suggestions on applying situational language teaching to English grammar class, which provides enlightenment for future grammar teaching.
