本文聚焦大学内部治理中的“学生参与”这一具体问题, 将“学生参与”置于促进大学人才培养的总体视域下, 综合运用文献研究法、比较研究法、问卷调查法、访谈研究法以及案例研究法, 遵循“理念—问题—制度—路径”四个维度展开研究。 首先, 从探寻“学生参与” 的理论根源出发, 分别基于“公民参与”理论、“以人为本”思想与马克思主义实践论的研究视角进行探讨。 其次, 运用多种研究方法开展中国大学内部治理中的“学生参与” 实证调研, 旨在直观了解当前我国“学生参与” 的现状。 再次, 为了解中外大学“学生参与” 的制度建设与制度落实情况, 对国内外大学章程中关于学生权利和“学生参与”的文本内容进行比较研究。 最后,阐释中国大学内部治理中“学生参与”的实践逻辑, 构建中国特色的大学内部治理中的“学生参与”新模式。
本论文的主体内容依据研究的基本思路分为六个部分。
第一章是绪论。主要提出论文研究的背景、目的意义,并对国内外相关文献进行综述,在此基础上明确研究思路、研究方法、研究内容和研究技术路线。
第二章是理念之维:“学生参与”是大学治理的题中之义。 本章首先从大学培养合格公民的角度, 指出“学生参与”是“公民参与” 在大学治理中的延续和发展;“学生参与”是学生权力形态的现代转向;并从“公民参与”理论模型得出对“学生参与” 的启示。 其次,强调在大学理念和大学精神中蕴含“以人为本” 思想, 从利益相关者视角分析了“学生参与”的必要性, 探究了大学组织育人环境和大学文化的育人功能。最后,基于马克思主义实践论提出“学生参与”本质上是一种教育实践活动, 大学生主体更是实践主体, 着重强调“学生参与”发挥着重要的育人功能。
第三章是问题之维:中国大学“学生参与”的实证调研与问题分析。 本章对国内高校在学生参与治理方面已经开展的实践探索进行分析。主要包括对大学生的问卷调查,运用 SPSS 分析软件对数据进行研究; 对大学内部各方(如:中层管理干部、一般管理人员、专业教师等) 利益相关者进行访谈,并对师生调研的结果进行对照分析, 从而得出有益的启示。此外,从国内某大学治理的现实案例入手,重点分析当前“学生参与”的现状、存在的问题及产生问题的原因。 最后, 综合上述调研进行对照分析,从中得出有益启示。
第四章是制度之维:中外大学章程中的“学生参与”文本分析。以大学章程对大学治理所具有的法定效力为基础, 从合法性的视角对中外大学章程中的“学生参与”进行文本分析和比较研究。一方面比较分析国外关于“学生参与大学治理”的相关政策制度,并对国外学生参与大学治理的实践经验加以总结提炼。另一方面,梳理总结国内关于“学生参与”的教育政策制度,从政策研究和文本分析出发,深入挖掘政策本身所蕴含的价值意义和政策不足。
第五章是路径之维: 中国大学内部治理中“学生参与”的实践逻辑与实现路径。 本章阐释了办好中国大学“学生参与” 的逻辑起点; 提出要兼顾考虑如何规避由于“参与不足”甚至是“参与过度” 所带来的不利影响, 因此要合理制订“学生参与” 的权限与规范; 创设学生参与大学内部治理的协商机制; 并尝试构建符合中国情境的“学生参与大学治理”模式。
第六章是结论与展望。总结回顾本研究的阶段性成果和主要结论,以及结合前期相关具体研究中存在的问题与不足,对完善下一阶段工作提出改进思路。
总之, 本论文通过系统研究与实证调查,初步得出具有价值的启示,如:多元利益主体参与治理是完善大学治理内部结构的重要举措;大学章程是推动“学生参与治理”的依据保障;校方顶层设计是实现“学生参与大学治理”的关键所在;中国特色社会主义大学有着自身发展的内在逻辑;“协商治理”是中国大学“学生参与治理”的有效机制。 本论文的核心创新点在于,超越了既往单一层面的就大学内部治理而谈“学生参与”,而是将“学生参与”视为人才培养和促进人的全面发展的重要途径, 尤其注重强调大学要为国家培养合格公民这一内在隐性价值; 由此提出了“公民培养—以人为本—实践育人”的理论分析框架。避免了偏重于从法理角度突出对学生权力的声张,而是更为强调“学生参与” 本身对培养时代新人以及培育大学生社会责任感所发挥的重要作用。本论文结合实证调研,分析了我国当前“学生参与”的制度化建设尚处于起步阶段,我国大学内部治理中整体的学生参与度仍然不高,而从国外大学章程中也可以得到一定的借鉴意义。本论文更进一步阐释了中国大学内部治理中“学生参与”的实践逻辑;在注重国际视野的基础上更为强调本土“学生参与”模式构建。

外文摘要:

This thesis focuses on the specific issue of ‘student participation’ in university internal governance, and puts ‘student participation’ under the overall view of promoting the  training of talented personnel, using literature research method, comparative research method, questionnaire survey method,interview method and case study method.The research follows the four dimensions of ‘Idea-Current problems-Institution-Path’. First of all, from the perspective of exploring the theoretical roots of ‘student participation’, they are based on the ‘citizen participation’ theory, the ‘people-oriented’ thinking and the research perspective of Marxist practice theory. Secondly, a comprehensive use of a variety of research methods to carry out a empirical research on ‘‘student participation’ in the internal governance of Chinese universities, aiming to intuitively understand the current status of ‘student participation’ in China. Thirdly, in order to understand the  system construction and system implementation of ‘student participation’ at Chinese and foreign universities, a comparative study on the content of students’ rights and ‘student participation’ in the domestic and foreign university regulations is conducted. Finally, it explains the practical logic of ‘student participation’ in the internal governance of Chinese universities, and constructs a new model of ‘student participation’ in the internal  governance of Chinese universities.
The main content of the thesis is divided into six parts according to the basic ideas of the research.
The first chapter is the Introduction. It mainly proposes the background and purpose of the research, and summarizes the related literature at home and abroad. On this basis, the research ideas, research methods, research contents and technical roadmap are clearly defined.
The second chapter is The dimension of the Idea: ‘student participation’ is one of the meaning of the university governance. From the perspective of cultivating qualified citizens, this chapter points out that ‘student participation’ is the continuation and  development of ‘citizen participation’ in university governance; ‘student participation’ is the modern turn of the form of student power; and some implications for ‘student  participation’ can be gotten from the ‘citizen participation’ theoretical model. Secondly, it emphasizes the ‘people-oriented’ thinking in the university idea and university spirit, analyzes the necessity of ‘student participation’ from the perspective of stakeholders theory, and explores the educational function of university organization and campus culture. Finally, based on Marxist practice theory, ‘student participation’ is essentially an educational practice activity. The main body of college students is the subject of practice, emphasizing that ‘student participation’ plays an important role in educating people.
The third chapter is The dimension of the current problems: the empirical research and problem analysis of ‘student participation’ in Chinese universities. This chapter analyzes  the practical explorations that have been carried out in domestic universities in terms of  student participation in governance. It mainly includes questionnaire survey for college students, by using SPSS analysis software to conduct research on data; and interview to stakeholders in the university, such as middle management cadres, general staff,  professional teachers. In addition, by foucusing on one actual case of a Chinese University,it can get more information about the current status of ‘student participation’in that campus, existing problems and the causes of them. Finally, the abovementioned research are combined with the comparative analysis to draw more useful insights.
The fourth chapter is The dimension of the institution: the analysis of the text of ‘student participation’ in the Charters of Chinese and foreign universities. Based on the statutory effectiveness of university regulations on university governance,the researcher has made  textual analysis and comparative study of ‘student participation’ in Chinese and foreign university regulations from the perspective of legitimacy. On the one hand, it compares and analyzes foreign policy systems that related to ‘student participation’ in university governance,then summarizes and refines the practical experience of foreign students participating in university governance. On the other hand, it summarizes the domestic education policy system of ‘student participation’, and starts from the policy research and text analysis to deeply explore the value meaning and policy deficiencies contained in the policy itself.
The fifth chapter is The dimension of the path: the practical logic and realization path of ‘student participation’ in the internal governance of Chinese universities. This chapter  explains the logical starting point for the ‘student participation’ of Chinese universities; proposes to rationally formulate the authority and norms of ‘student participation’; aims  to create a negotiation mechanism for students to participate in internal governance of the university; and tries to construct a specific mode of ‘student participation’ in  niversity governance which in line with the Chinese society.
The sixth chapter is The conclusion and outlook. This chapter summarizes the review of the phased results and main conclusions of this study, as well as the problems and deficiencies in the previous specific research, and proposes some adveice for  improvements to the next phase of work.  In summary, this thesis draws valuable inspiration through systematic research and empirical investigation. For example, multi-stakeholder participation in governance is an important measure to improve the internal structure of university governance,the university charter is the basis for promoting ‘student participation’ in internal governance,the top-level design is the key to realizing ‘student participation’ in university governance,the socialist universities with Chinese characteristics have their own internal logic of development,‘deliberative governance’ is an effective mechanism for ‘student participation’ in Chinese universities. The core innovation of this thesis could be listed as follows,such as,it transcends the previous single perspective of internal governance in terms of university governance, but regards ‘student participation’ as an important way to cultivate talented personnel, thus  proposing ‘citizen training—people-oriented thinking—practice activity’. It avoids only judging the power of students from the perspective of jurisprudence, but making more emphasis on the important role that played by ‘student participation’ itself in cultivating good citizen and youngers’ sense of social responsibility. This thesis combines empirical research and analyzes that the current institutionalization of ‘student participation’ in China is still in its infancy. This thesis further explains the practice logic of ‘student  participation’ in the internal governance of Chinese universities, not only on the basis of focusing on international perspective, but also it emphasizes on the construction of our local ‘student participation’ mode.
