根据前人的研究成果,本文从《高等学校外国留学生汉语言专业教学大纲》一、二年级词汇中选出53个双音节形容词,以义项为单位,详细考察每一个所选形容词与其后置名词的搭配情况。然后以此为参照,对比研究这些形容词的英语对应词与后置名词的搭配情况,分析归纳汉语和英语对应的形容词在所选范围内表现出的异同,并进一步寻找出现这些差异的原因及规律。经过研究发现,在53个汉语双音节形容词中,有17个与名词的搭配情况在汉英中表现一致,有36个不完全一致。汉英对应词之间义项的不完全对应、汉英表达方式之间的不同以及汉英对应词与同一类名词在搭配频率上的不同是造成搭配差异的主要原因。通过上面的研究及分析,我们针对形容词和名词的研究及教学分别提出了一些建议,包括加强语义角度的名词分类的研究、加强汉语教学初中级阶段形容词名词常用搭配的输入等。

This article selects 53 Chinese double-syllable adjectives from Syllabus for Foreign College Students of Chinese Language Specialized, and then finds the English translation(s) of every word. The comparative study is conducted after all of the language materials related to collocations of the 53 Chinese adjectives and 79 English adjectives. This article is to find the differences between the Chinese collocations and English collocations, furthermore to find the laws which make these differences. Based on these, proposals are tabled to make Chinese adjective teaching more effective.This study finds that 17 words bear the same collocations between Chinese language and English language; and other 36 words’ collocations are different between Chinese language and English language. Different senses, different expression methods and different collocation frequencies between Chinese adjectives and English adjectives are the main three reasons for the collocation differences. Proposals like to enhance the semantically systematization of nouns and to provide more frequent collocations on the primary teaching period are proposed based on the study and conclusions above.
