    电子游戏是现代社会表现突出的新兴研究领域,其叙事性一直是研究的重点。当面对现代社会中的民间传统时,电子游戏叙事又作为对其进行重构的场域,令民间传统与现代性和谐并存。本文秉持着“朝向当下”的思考角度,对当前成功的电子游戏叙事重构民间传统的模式进行总结,从游戏设计者和玩家的双向视角思考重构遵循的逻辑,并对成功的叙事个案进行详解,关注游戏内外叙事场域的重构实践。

全文首置绪论,正文共分为三章讲述,文末作结语。

绪论从当下民间传统面临的危机出发,思考维护民间传统对于提高族群认同的重要意义,并讨论了电子游戏重构民间传统的必要性和合理性,以及民间传统对于电子游戏的适用性。本文基于笔者的网络田野观察,配合案例分析法、参与观察法和深度访谈法,针对典型个案和丰富例证进行分析。

第一章通过对游戏面临的多方力量博弈的书写,试图解答电子游戏叙事为什么要使用民间传统;然后通过以强叙事性游戏的例证分析,讨论游戏产品内部该如何使用民间传统。

第二章以游戏《明日方舟》的新年活动剧情文本为个案,分析电子游戏叙事的形态结构和对传统资源的创编。该叙事文本展现了与民间叙事传统同源的结构规则,围绕冒险故事的叙事法则展开讲述,并以其游戏设定为背景,实现了对民间传说和传统思想的全新诠释。

第三章重点关注文本以外的游戏叙事空间。电子游戏作为复杂的技术成果和完善的商业产品,其叙事场域不仅局限在产品内部。本章节通过多条例证,分析了游戏官方和玩家是如何搭建外部叙事场域的丰富媒介和线下空间,促进民间传统资源的流动的。

结语纵观全文,回顾了本文立足的视角,并对民间传统与现代性和谐共生进行了展望。

外文摘要:

    Video game is an emerging field of research with prominent performance in modern society, and its narrative has been the focus of research. When facing the folk tradition in modern society, game narrative serves as a field to reconstruct them, so that folk tradition and modernity can coexist harmoniously. With the perspective of "towards the present", this paper summarizes the successful game narrative that reconstructs folk tradition,considers the logic of reconstruction from the two-way perspective of game designers and players, and elaborates on the successful narrative cases, focusing on the reconstruction practices of narrative fields inside and outside the game.

    The full text begins with an introduction, the main body includes three chapters, and the conclusion is made at the end of the text.

    The introduction starts from the crisis facing folk tradition nowadays, considers the importance of maintaining folk tradition for improving community identity, and discusses the necessity and rationality of video games in reconstructing folk tradition and the applicability of folk tradition to video games. Based on my online field observation, together with the case study method, participant observation method and in-depth interview method, this paper analyzes the typical cases and rich examples.

    The first chapter tries to answer why game narrative should use folk tradition by writing about the multiple power games that games face;then it discusses how folk tradition should be used within game products by using the example analysis of strong narrative games.

    The second chapter takes the New Year's event episode text of the game Arknights as a case study to analyze the morphological structure of game narrative and the creation of traditional resources. The narrative text exhibits structural rules homologous to folk narrative tradition, is told around the narrative law of adventure stories, and realizes a new interpretation of folklore and traditional ideas with its game setting as the background.

    The third chapter focuses on the narrative space of games beyond the text. As a complex technological achievement and a perfect commercial product, the narrative field of video games is not only confined to the interior of the product. Through several examples, this chapter analyzes how game officials and players build rich media and offline spaces of external narrative fields and promote the flow of folk traditional resources.

    Conclusion Throughout the text, the perspective on which this paper is based is reviewed and an outlook on the harmonious coexistence of folk tradition and modernity is provided.
