高等教育的大众化带来女性进入高校数量的增长,越来越多的女性获得了公共参与的机会,高等教育在促进女性公共参与方面发挥日益重要的作用。 本研究聚焦 Z 校这所女子大学中女大学生公共参与的实际情形,采用问卷调查、深度访谈、参与观察等方法,广泛收集各类一手数据和资料,运用社会性别视角探究女大学生公共参与的具体过程和影响因素,分析其主体性特征及女校教育在促进女生公共参与中所扮演的角色和作用。 该校女生的参与主要集中在社团活动、志愿服务和学校管理三类不同场域。研究发现,其参与的共同特征有:参与动机偏向个人化,参与的自发性较强,自觉性较弱;活动类型偏好日常生活化,政治参与意识淡薄;参与策略注重情感与关系的运用,女性化特点突出;参与者具有“权宜型性别主体” 特征,在注重个人利益的前提下选择性抗争性别偏见。 女生公共参与的上述特点与诸多内外部因素有关。 其中,文化是外部因素中的根本因素。 平等性别文化与市场化的性别文化的规训和博弈深刻地影响着女生的公共参与。一方面,该校营造的旨在提升女生性别平等意识、四自精神的平等性别文化,为女生的参与创设条件;另一方面,物欲化的消费主义与传统性别文化合谋所形成的市场化的性别文化,通过社会、家庭与日常生活途径,强化女生“情感化”“物欲化”“身体化”等特质,对女生参与起到阻碍作用。两类性别文化的张力表现为:平等性别文化虽然在女校课程教学、专业设置、学术活动、校园文化等多层面有所体现,但仍显不足。近年来,女校面临高校排名和就业市场竞争的压力,使得性别平等实践空间渐趋狭窄;市场化的性别文化在博弈中容易占据优势,并以弥漫渗透的方式对女生产生影响,制约着她们的各类参与。 女生并非被动接受性别文化的规训,其主体性作为关键因素发挥能动作用。参与过程中,主体性表现出情感性、关系性、发展性、道德性等特征。在不同的情境下,这些特征的结合与表现形式不同,女生在理想和现实之间的权衡也不尽相同。在主体性作用下,她们在参与过程中表现出规则服从、理性选择及价值追寻等行动逻辑。教育是培养学生主体性的重要途径,女校及其所实施的性别平等教育在一定程度有利于女生主体性的发挥,但由于社会与文化的原因还存在局限性。 建议学校教育在“以人为本”理念下,深化性别平等教育,赋权女性的同时把握女性主体性的独特性,正视其情感与关系特征的积极价值,平衡其发展与道德特征,开展有针对性的教育,搭建女性个体经验与社会生活的有效连接,增强她们的主体性,促进她们的公共参与。女性诸多独特的经验尚未被纳入教育视域。重新恢复易受忽视的女性经验对于现代教育的宝贵价值,有助于形成与女性立场相关的知识,促进教育形塑学生具有立场的观念和行动。 |

The popularization of higher education has brought about an increase in the number of women entering colleges and universities. more and more women have obtained opportunities for public participation. Higher education plays an increasingly important role in promoting women's public participation. This study focuses on the actual situation of female college students' public participation in Z university. by using the methods of questionnaire survey, in-depth interview and participation observation, this study extensively collects all kinds of first-hand data and materials, and explores the specific process and influencing factors of female college students' public participation from gender perspective, and analyzes its subjective characteristics and the role and effect of women's university education in promoting female students' public participation. Female college students' public participation is mainly concentrated in three different fields: community activities, voluntary service and university management. The results show that the common characteristics of female students' participation are: participation motivation tends to be personalized, participation spontaneity is strong, and consciousness is weak; The types of activities prefer daily life, and the consciousness of political participation is weak; Participation strategy focuses on the use of emotion and relationship and its feminization is prominent; Participants have the characteristics of "excessive gender subjects", and selectively fight against gender bias under the premise of focusing on personal interests. The above characteristics of female students' public participation are related to many internal and external factors. Among them, culture is the fundamental factor in the external factors. The game between the two kinds of gender culture restricts the participation of female students. On the one hand, the gender equality culture created by Z university aims to enhance the awareness of gender equality and the spirit of "four selves" to create conditions for the participation of female students; On the other hand, the market-oriented gender culture formed by the collusion of materialistic consumerism and traditional gender culture strengthens the characteristics of female students such as "emotional", "materialistic" and "physical" through the ways of society, family and daily life, which hinders the participation of female students. The tension of these two kinds of gender culture is shown as follows: Although Gender equality culture is reflected in Z university’ curriculum teaching, professional setting, academic activities and campus culture, it is still insufficient. In recent years, Z university is facing the pressure of university ranking and job market competition, which makes the practice space of gender equality gradually narrow. Market-oriented gender culture is easy to occupy an advantage in the game, and has an impact on girls in a diffuse way, restricting their various participation. Female students do not passively accept the discipline of gender culture, and their subjectivity plays an active role as a key factor. In the process of participation, their subjectivity shows the characteristics of emotion, relationship, development and morality. In different situations, the combination and expression of these characteristics are different, and their trade-offs between ideal and reality are not the same; Under the role of subjectivity, they show the action logic such as rule obedience, rational choice and value pursuit. Education is an important way to cultivate students' subjectivity. To a certain extent, the gender equality education implemented by women’s university is conducive to the exertion of female students' subjectivity. However, due to social and cultural reasons, there are still limitations. Universities should implement the educational concept of "student-oriented", deepen gender equality education, empower female students, grasp the uniqueness of their subjectivity, face up to and excavate the positive value of their emotional and relationship characteristics, balance their development and moral characteristics, and build an effective connection between female individual experience and social life to enhance their subjectivity and promote their public participation through targeted education. Many unique experiences of women have not been included in the education field. To restore the valuable value of women's experience which is easy to be ignored for modern education is helpful to form knowledge related to women's position, and to promote education to shape students' ideas and actions. |
