沈伟（1968-）是美籍华人舞蹈家、编舞家、艺术家和导演，2000年在纽约创办了首个以华人命名的非营利性舞蹈专业团体“沈伟舞蹈艺术”，担任艺术总监至今，拥有近30年的创作实践经验，其作品枝蔓颇丰，硕果累累且获奖无数，建立了独特的“自然身体发展”技术体系，给舞蹈创作研究带来极为深刻的影响，带给中国乃至世界艺术的发展一笔宝贵的财富。本论文以沈伟的舞蹈创作和实践历程为研究内容，从其生平出发，以其艺术创作成果为基础，总结出沈伟的实践历程对舞蹈艺术发展的启示及影响。 本篇论文分为三章，标题分别以沈伟代表作名称辅助命名，以宏观和微观的研究视角分别对研究对象进行梳理、分析和总结。第一章是概述，按时间和空间节点梳理沈伟的成长与实践之路，1995年之前在中国的成长与学习阶段和1995年之后在美国的研习与创作历程；第二章是对沈伟舞蹈作品成果的分析总结，梳理出三个不同阶段的不同特征，并以具体作品进行分析论证；第三章是成果及其启示，以前两章为基础，总结出沈伟实践历程的成果及其对舞蹈创作乃至艺术创作的影响。 中国现代舞发展至今80余年，沈伟作为80-90年代中国现代舞代表人物之一，从这里出发站上了国际舞台，不断推陈出新，从一名“继承者”变为“创造者”，并从未停止他的步伐，将艺术视为生命，因为创造而存在。

Shen Wei (1968-) is a Chinese American dancer, choreographer, artist, and director. In 2000, he founded the first non-profit dance professional group named Shen Wei Dance Arts. Shen Wei has served as an artistic director of Shen Wei Dance Art until now. He has nearly 30 years of choreography practice experience. His works have been full of fruitful achievements and numerous awards. He has established a unique Natural Body Development Technique system, which has impacted choreography studies profoundly and has brought valuable assets to the developments of arts in China and even in the world. This thesis took Shen Wei's dance choreography and practice experience as the research contents, starting from his life experiences, based on his artistic creation achievements, and summed up Shen Wei's practice experience and its effects and influences on the developments of dance. This thesis is divided into three chapters, which were respectively named by me based on Shen Wei’s repertories, and the subjects were combed, analysed and summarised from the macro and micro perspectives. The first chapter is Overview, according to the time and space nodes combing Shen Wei's growth and dance practice: his growth and learning stage in China before 1995, and his study and choreography process in the United States after 1995. The second chapter analysed and summarised the achievements of Shen Wei's dance works, combed out the different characteristics of the three different stages, and analysed and demonstrated the specific works. The third chapter is the revelation that is Shen Wei’s practice experience of revelation to his dance and even art creativity based on the previous two chapters. Since the developments of modern dance in China for more than 80 years, Shen Wei has been one of the representative figures of modern Chinese dance in the 1980s and 1990s. From here, he has been standing on the international stage and has been constantly promoting innovation, from an “inheritor” to a “creator”. He never stopped his steps. Art is regarded as his life. He creates therefore he is.
