《亚洲戏剧研究》（Asian Theatre Journal）是北美地区一份专门研究亚洲传统与现代表演艺术以及亚洲戏剧与西方戏剧之间影响关系的学术杂志，在亚洲戏剧研究领域内影响甚广。本文就《亚洲戏剧研究》杂志中的中国戏剧研究部分加以整理分析。通过过刊通览与统计分析，拟从中国戏曲研究、中国现当代话剧研究、中西戏剧比较研究三个方面入手，整理并分析该杂志在中国戏剧研究上的成果与风格特征，最后尝试通过对《亚洲戏剧研究》这一跨文化研究实例的分析从而提炼出一些跨文化研究方法论上的启示。

Asian Theatre Journal is an American academic journal specialized in the research of both traditional and modern Asian performing arts and the interaction between Asian Theatre and Western Theatre, which has a wide academic influence in North America. By the methods of literature survey, statistical survey and comparative study, this article went through all the back issues of Asian Theatre Journal and then analyzed all their research concerning Chinese theatre, which aims to introduce and evaluate their achievements and style characteristics of Chinese theatre research from three aspects: the research of Chinese Xiqu(Opera), modern Chinese Huaju(Spoken drama), and the comparative research between Chinese and Western theatre. Conclusively, the article tries to have some inspiration about the methodologies of cross-cultural and comparative research from what has been discussed above.
