There are a lot of reflections of witch culture elements in the "A Dream of Red Mansions", and the witch culture elements have important impacts on the plots of the novel, the promotion and development. Based on research of this point, the dissertation analyses "the magic stone" and "the illusion" and "prophecy" respectively which have a effect on the creation of plots and the relevance of the novel. It discusses the specific symbolic meanings of witch cultural elements in the novel, then probes into the role of weaving to the novel structure, as well as studies how the witch culture elements show the theme of the novel and the deepen it.Thus, the application of witch culture elements makes the plots more plentiful , temporal structure more open, creation of works owns unique artistic charm.
