信仰是人类精神生活的一种重要表现形式。信仰不仅是民族凝聚力的源泉，也是人格塑造的根本，因此，信仰建设是一项十分重要的工程。本文以当代中国信仰建设为研究对象，通过分析当代中国信仰状况，着重说明了当代中国科学信仰的理想状态，试图构建当代中国科学信仰，以期为中国信仰建设贡献绵薄之力。本文首先探讨了信仰的内涵、发展历程、功能等相关理论，而后在理论研究的基础上，考察了当代中国信仰现状，并从人们对马克思主义理论认知、信仰与现实、一元主导信仰与多元信仰客观存在的角度去探寻当前中国信仰建设中存在的问题。这些问题引发了人们信仰选择的困惑，造成了科学信仰传播过程中所面临的困难和障碍。本文从社会主义改革和建设、全球化的发展趋势以及人的全面发展的需要这三方面来阐述信仰建设的必要性。基于对当代中国信仰建设中存在问题的分析以及当代中国信仰建设必要性的阐述，文章最后进一步明确了当代中国信仰建设的理想状态，即共同理想和最高理想的生活化、马克思主义理论的通俗化和当代中华民族精神的规范化，并提出了加强当代中国信仰建设的相应措施。

Faith is a reflection of social and spiritual life for human kind. It is not only the source of national cohesion but also the cornerstone of personality cultivation, and thereby comes the very significance of faith construction. The immediate thesis tends to find a way to faith for contemporary China in the attempt to make a contribution to China’s faith construction, with which as a subject, and through focusing on how to enhance faith construction in contemporary China. Beginning with explorations on common connotations, evolvement and functions of faith, the thesis casts a look on the problems facing contemporary China faith construction in three perspectives: confusing social perceptions on Marxism, gap between faith and praxis and contradiction between uni-belief and multi-faiths, which have imposed difficulties and impediments on scientific faith establishing and spreading.Hereinafter, the thesis continues to elaborate the necessities of faith construction on the basis of socialist reform and construction, cultural globalization trend and individual all-round progress respectively. The thesis concludes and proposes that faith construction in contemporary China should integrate perceptions on Marxism belief, the immediate time context and Chinese national ethos as a whole, i.e. build a Marxism faith system that fits into today’s settings and China’s specific characteristics，and give some suggestion on China’s faith construction.
