2008年发生的“三鹿毒奶粉”事件,在全国上下掀起了轩然大波,一批知名的国产奶粉品牌都查出了含有三聚氰胺,这一消息刺痛了消费者的心,而质检监管的缺位,又震惊了大众。消费者要求食品企业提高社会责任的呼声越来越高。三鹿毒奶粉事件在带给人们对对幼小生命扼腕而叹的同时,更唤起了人们对企业实施社会责任的强烈要求。透过“三鹿毒奶粉事件”,我们看到企业忽视社会责任建设,最终要付出高昂的社会责任成本。而“三鹿”事件的发生,也对全国的乳制品企业造成了恶劣的社会影响,全行业因此而陷入了严重的信任危机。因此,倡导企业履行社会责任,推动行业的企业社会责任的发展已经迫在眉睫,实行全面社会责任管理已成为食品企业当前建设社会责任体系的重点。企业需要满足多重需求,从经济范畴来说,企业追求最大化利润,从法律范畴来说,企业要做好的“企业公民”;从道德范畴来说,企业要承担社会责任。企业社会责任是指企业在实现利润最大化目标的同时承担起社会义务,这在一定程度上意味着企业自愿约束自己不去谋求最高利润,并尽量符合社会的要求。作为食品类企业的完整的社会责任是提供真实的产品信息、物美价廉的产品及让顾客满意的服务,满足顾客需求,涵盖了伦理道德、法律及经济责任,其本质是在经济全球化背景下企业对其自身经济行为的道德约束,它既是企业的宗旨和经营理念,又是企业自身用来约束内部生产经营行为的一套管理和评估体系。三鹿事件后,越来越多的成长中的中国企业感受到承担社会责任是一种“现实的需要”。企业履行社会责任,转变发展方式,提高发展质量,增强可持续发展能力,已成为企业推进发展和提高核心竞争力的重要途径和必然选择。企业在发展中,必须统筹考虑利益相关方、环境、资源各个要素,必须顾及到经济社会的全面进步、顾及到人与自然的和谐、顾及到子孙后代的长远利益。

The “Sanlu Poisonous Milk Scandal” has set off a firestorm in the whole country, which was taken place in 2008. Many well-known domestic milk companies had found out the melamine. This hit the hearts of consumers. And the lack of quality control monitoring also stunned the public. Consumers are demanding that the food enterprises should improve their social responsibility. The Sanlu Milk Scandal has brought people to sigh for regret infants, and strongly inspire people’s implement on corporate social responsibility. Through the “Sanlu Poisonous Milk Scandal”, we can see that if the company ignores corporate social responsibility, it will eventually have to pay for it. The whole industry is badly affected, due to the “Sanlu Poisonous Milk Scandal”. And the country's dairy companies find themselves in a serious crisis of confidence. Therefore, it’s the time to advocate corporate social responsibility. And implementating comprehensive social responsibility management is one of the most important things. The enterprise must meets lots of demands. Economically, an enterprise seeks for maximize profits; legally, it wants to be a good “corporate citizenship”; morally, it should undertake social responsibility. The Corporate Social Responsibility calls for the corporate to assume social obligation when aiming to achieve the goal of maximizing profits. To some extent, it means that companies should voluntarily bind themselves from seeking the highest profit and meet the requirements of society. To a food company, its social responsibility is generally on providing real production information, products which is cheap and fine, and satisfied services. Its essence is the self-discipline of enterprises economic behavior under theirs own moral constraints in the background of economic globalization. It’s the purpose and philosophy of enterprises, but it is also a set of management and evaluation system, which a company bound itself during producing and operating. After the “Sanlu Poisonous Milk Scandal”, more and more growing Chinese enterprises find that committing social responsibility is the demand of practice. Corporate needs to perform social responsibility, change the mode of development, improve the quality of development and enhancing capacity for sustainable development. These are now an important approach and the inevitable choice to promote development and improve core competitiveness of a business. During the process of development, a enterprise must ponder over each interests related groups, such as the environment, resources, and various factors etc. it also need to take the economic and social progress, the harmony between man and nature and the interests of next generations into account.
