Entrepreneurship has been widely recognized as an essential driver of economic growth and development, especially in developing countries. This study aims to investigate the impact of entrepreneurship on economic growth boosting sustainable development in Sierra Leone. Using Mixed methods, Both interviews (semi-structured) and Questionnaires were used to collect data for this study, with purposive and simple random sample methods being employed recording 94 responses from 150 participants. Out of this response, 90 – questionnaires and 4 – interviews, including one case study. The subjects of the research included Policymakers, public servants, NGOs, and entrepreneurs.,

The research was conducted by reviewing previous literature, examining the entrepreneurial environment from 2014 to 2023, evaluating the availability of resources, ease of doing business, socio-cultural and political environment, and natural and external forces.

The study also assesses the effect of entrepreneurship on government policies, employment, innovation and technology, infrastructural development, and national gross domestic product, describing the impact of entrepreneurship on Economic Growth. Additionally, the research examines the impacts of entrepreneurial output on sustainable development, considering the economic, sociocultural, and environmental dimensions.

The findings suggest that entrepreneurship has a positive impact on sustainable development, contributing to economic growth, job creation, innovation, and environmental sustainability. The study recommends that Sierra Leone should continue to promote entrepreneurship through policies that support the private sector, ease of doing business, and access to resources
