从1979年起，每年我国出版图书的百分之三四十都是翻译图书，其中文学作品占据了相当大的比例。外国文学作品被大量地引进，翻译，出版，繁荣了我国的文化市场。文学作品的翻译质量直接影响了大众对于英文原作的阅读体验。我国学者在文学翻译研究方面的成果数量惊人，近年来文学翻译研究中的理论主题逐渐多元化，语料库翻译学的发展也给文学翻译研究带来了新的工具。当前学者已基本明确了文学翻译研究的方法论，在此基础上，文学翻译研究有待在具体研究中更加务实和创新，关注实际的微观层次的问题，增加量化研究和实证分析。

在本翻译报告中，作者将着眼于提升小说翻译中的语言规范问题，采用韩礼德和哈桑创立的衔接理论作为基础，分析当代浪漫小说Sweet Hustle Love中前四章中衔接手段的翻译策略，并思考如何在转换过程中注意语言规范，并使译文行文流畅，衔接紧凑。译者将主要从替代和省略两个衔接手段入手，分析中英文衔接方式的不同，以及译文中采取的对应翻译策略。本文采取的主要研究方法为案例分析法。通过本次翻译项目实践，译者对于小说翻译有了更深的认识，并能较为灵活地在中英文衔接方式中进行转换，有效地提升了译文的质量。

Since 1979, almost forty percent of the books published in China have been translated books, of which literary works account for a considerable proportion. Foreign literary works have been introduced, translated and published in large quantities, which has prospered the cultural market in China. And the translation quality of literary works has a direct impact on the public's reading experience of English originals. In recent years, the theoretical themes in literary translation research have gradually diversified, and the development of corpus translatology has also brought new tools to literary translation research. At present, scholars have basically defined the methodology of literary translation research. On this basis, literary translation research needs to be more pragmatic and innovative in specific research, pay attention to the actual micro level problems, and increase quantitative research and empirical analysis.

Based on the cohesion theory by Halliday and Hasan, this translation report is supposed to analyze the first four chapters of a modern romantic novel, Hustle Sweet Love. Two cohesive means are mainly used in this report, that is, substitution and ellipsis, which are widely applied in literature texts. Based on case study, the report tries to analyze the difference between Chinese and English cohesive devices and figure out the effective translation strategies. Through this translation project practice, the translator has a deeper understanding on literature translation and learn to shift from English cohesive devices to Chinese flexibly, which contributes to the improvement of translation quality.
