本文是针对《左传》中出现的并列双音词进行的分类探究。鉴于并列双音词是汉语双音词中数量较多的一类，早在先秦的训释中就已经出现少数双音词的语义解释，所以本文首先系统的梳理了前人对于并列双音词的探究，选用代表先秦史学和文学最高成就的《左传》，根据其中双音词的内部结构，即构成词的语素意义方面分析，发现并列双音词在成词过程中具有渐变性和相对独立的特性；在演变发展过程中具有社会性。总结出了汉语在历史发展演变时经历的一系列变化和转变的规律，感悟语言发展的独特魅力。
