本研究以北京师范大学国家精品课程“中国地理”为依托，遵循“中国地理”课程的教学理念、多媒体素材库建设的一般原则、以及地理学科的区域性特征等三大建设指导思想，建设了辅助“中国地理”课程教学的多媒体素材库。在内容上，多媒体素材库采用媒体类型和区域尺度相结合的检索方式，包含网站简介、区域地图、遥感影像、景观照片、视频动画、民乐地图、统计数据和名词字典等八个模块，共有全国尺度、大区尺度、省区尺度和小区尺度等四种区域尺度，为课程教学提供一个新的资源平台和一种新的教学方式。在方法上，将多媒体技术和网络技术结合起来，利用两者的优势组织教学资源，探讨利用多媒体技术辅助地理教学的理论和方法。

This study is based on the National Great Course "China Geography" of Beijing Normal University. Following with the teaching philosophy of China Geography course, the general principles of building multimedia material database, and the regional geographic features，this multimedia teaching material is established to support the development of China Geography course. This multimedia material used retrieval methods integrated media types with regional-scale. It contains eight modules, including site profiles, regional maps, remote sensing images, landscape photographs, video animation, music map, statistics and terminology dictionaries, and four regional scales, including country scale, large scale, province scale and small scale. It builds a new platform of teaching resources and a new teaching method for future course development. This multimedia material used methods combining the advantages of multimedia and network technology to organize teaching resources. It's utilization on assistance of geography teaching theory and method in the future is of great importance.
