在中国现代文学史上,文学界对女作家萧红的评价在不同历史时期有着不同的见解,尤其对萧红作品主题的探究更是众说纷纭。不可否认,萧红作品塑造出了十九世纪二三十年代中国土地上以底层劳动人民为主体的世间群像,无论是表达对女人、孩童、老人等弱势群体的悲悯,还是批判封建社会对人的思想桎梏,其作品都充分展示了世间人情的善恶冷暖等感情色彩。其中,笔者发现萧红作品中美与丑这个人类永恒的主题有充分的研究价值。本文以萧红作品中美与丑的表现和原因分析为研究对象,分别从“自然景物中美与丑的和谐统一”、“人性中的美丑对比”和“萧红作品中美丑现象的探究”这三个层面展开分析和论述,从而探讨萧红小说中美与丑的碰撞与交融这一价值。笔者在第一部分“自然景物中美与丑的和谐统一”中,侧重解读萧红在作品中所描述的家乡呼兰之景,这景色时而洋溢着充满生命活力的美感,时而又带给读者压抑沉重的消极之感,使得萧红笔下的景物描写呈现出两种截然相对的感情基调。笔者针对这生命之色与压抑之色的强烈反差进行了分析,并深入思考了“后花园”和“大泥坑”这两个自然意象的美与丑的极致典型代表,从而体会作者对美好的珍藏与守护之情和对丑恶的批判与否定之态。同时,本文也由对自然景物中美丑暗示的剖析进一步去探索和思考萧红作品的人性领域。第二部分笔者主要从萧红作品中的人性角度去探索美丑对比。文中分析了当时底层人民的坚忍不拔和淳朴本善之美与千年形成的封建思想束缚之丑形成的鲜明对比。在这个过程中侧重解读作品中劳动人民在恶劣条件下生命力的顽强与人性中本善的温情之美,以及男性思想不觉醒的问题和女性美消逝的原因探究,从而分析出萧红在作品中所揭示的国民病态之丑。第三部分是对前两部分的进一步探究,主要分析萧红作品中出现美丑现象的原因。这就离不开对萧红本人性格和其世界观的分析,对其棱角分明的人生个性的展现。本部分从家庭和时代两种因素对萧红的影响入手,继而解读萧红个性在作品中的表现。笔者侧重探索其作品中人的本善之美在国民病态之丑中的泯灭过程,以及在丑陋中坚守生命之美这一人生出路探寻的思索。在这个过程中笔者体会和分析萧红以爱写丑的悲悯情怀以及其作品中呈现出的美学意义。

In China’s modern literature history, the comments in the literary circles on Ms. Xiao Hong, a female writer, are different in different historical periods, and the opinions vary greatly, especially on the themes of Xiao Hong’s works. It is undeniable that Xiao Hong’s works create the images of groups of characters in society with the bottom laboring people on China’s land acting as the main body in the 1920s and the 1930s. Whether the sympathy for disadvantaged groups like women, children and the aged etc., or the criticism on the feudal society’s shackles for people’s thinking, they all fully display the emotional coloring, such as the good, the evil as well as coldness and warmness in human feelings in Xiao Hong’s works. Therein the author finds that in Xiao Hong’s works, the eternal theme of mankind on beauty and ugliness has full research value.The article takes the representation of beauty and ugliness and analysis of causes in Xiao Hong’s works as the research subject. The analysis and discussion are spread from three levels of “the harmonious unity of beauty and ugliness in natural sceneries”, “beauty and ugliness comparison in humanity” and “research on the causes for the distinctive beauty and ugliness in Xiao Hong’s works”, thereby the value of the collision and blend of beauty as well as ugliness in Xiao Hong’s novels are discussed.In the first part of “the harmony and unity of beauty and ugliness in natural sceneries”, the author lays particular emphasis on interpreting the sceneries of Hulan, the hometown of Xiao Hong, in her works. The sceneries sometime brim with the sense of beauty with full vitality, while sometimes bring readers a sense of depressed heaviness, making Xiao Hong’s description of the sceneries form a contrast of two moods of feelings. The author makes an analysis on the strong contrast between the color of life and that of depression. At the same time the author analyzes the extreme typical representation of the two natural images of the beauty and ugliness of “the backyard garden” and “the big wallow”, thereby the author experiences the writer’s feeling of treasuring and protecting the fineness and her critical and negative attitude towards ugliness. In the meantime, the article also further explores and ponders on the humanity field of Xiao Hong’s works from the analysis on the hints of beauty and ugliness for natural sceneries.In the second part, the author mainly explores the contrast of beauty and ugliness from the humanity angle in Xiao Hong’s works. In the article, the author analyzes the distinct contrast between the beauty of the firmness, perseverance, natural kindness and the ugliness formed by the binding of feudal thoughts through several thousand years. In the process particular emphasis is laid on interpreting the laboring people’s tenacious vitality under the wicked conditions and the beauty of tender feelings of kindness in human nature. Besides, exploration is carried out for the problem that men’s thinking is not wakeful and the reasons of the disappearance of female beauty, thus the national morbidity’s ugliness exposed in Xiao Hong’s works is analyzed.The third part is the further exploration for the first two parts. It mainly analyzes the reasons of the distinction between beauty and ugliness in Xiao Hong’s works. It can not be separated from the analysis of Xiao Hong’s own character, her world view, and the display of her distinctive life personality. This part starts with two factors of the influence from her family and the times on Xiao Hong, and then interprets the representation of Xiao Hong’s personality in her works. The author particularly emphasizes the exploration of disappearance process of human being’s kind nature in the ugliness of nationals’ morbidity, and the thinking on searching the life way out when insisting on life beauty in ugliness. In this process the author has experienced and analyzed the compassion feeling of writing ugliness with love and the aesthetics meanings displayed in her works.
