唐代近侍宦官指在皇帝身边近身侍奉的宦官，不同于职事官受律令体制约束，亦不同于内诸司使有明确的任务范围。近侍宦官没有具体明确的事务，临时授命居多，在内侍奉于皇帝左右处理临时事务，在外执行各种临时出使任务。相对于一般宦官，近侍宦官能够更直接频繁接近皇帝。根据唐代近侍宦官迁转和任职情况等，其身份属性不强，仍应当是职任。相较于唐代，五代的近侍宦官如内养宦官则与皇帝保持更强的私人关系。从对甘露之变前后近侍宦官的考察可以看出，近侍宦官同皇帝的关系需要视具体的政治环境而定。甘露之变后的一段特殊时期内宦官全面把持宫廷，近侍宦官如供奉官由大宦官的亲信担任，成为监视皇帝的工具。另外，通过对内养宦官执行赐死任务的具体分析可以看到，内养宦官执行的赐死任务多是例行公事，不能过高评价唐代内养宦官的近侍特征。此外，随着宦官组织的庞大，宦官机构出现等级细化趋向，这亦表现在近侍宦官中。虽还不能十分明确每一种近侍宦官的地位和区别，但搜罗的诸种近侍宦官依据服色的不同逐渐形成一定的等级关系。

Also, Neiyang(内养) perform the specific task which are routine, the identity attribute can not be too high to evaluation of. In addition, with the eunuch organizations are becoming huge, the level of the institutions of eunuch are becoming refinement. It also behave in the lord chamberlain of eunuch. Although it is not clear for each position and the difference between the lord chamberlain of eunuch, according to clothing color, the lord chamberlain of eunuch gradually formed a hierarchical subordination.
