语法教学的价值和地位一直是一个有争议的话题。我国对于语法教学价值的判断很大程度上受西方的影响，对语法教学的态度历经起伏。在新课程改革之前的英语课堂中，主要采用语法翻译法，语法教学的目的是为了学习语法规则，忽视了语言综合运用能力的培养，导致学习者即使学习了多年英语，却无法在实际生活中交际的现象。20世纪80年代以来，我国的英语课堂教学发生了深刻地变化，英语教学更注重培养学生的交际能力。特别是新一轮课程改革，教材采用功能、结构、话题和任务型活动相结合的思路编写，倡导语法教学要更关注语言的运用，但在实际教学过程中，部分教师对于语法教学还存在一些误区，认为新课程否定语法教学。在我国英语教材作为英语课程实施的重要部分，是教师实施教学活动的重要资源和基本依据，也体现了语言教学理念的更新。因此，通过分析教材中语法项目的呈现方式以及练习设计来研究我国高中英语语法教学方式的转变，对于一线教师准确解读教材中所倡导的语法教学方式和理念具有实践意义，也能给教材编写者提供一定的参考意见。本研究采用文本分析的方法，以在我国基础教育领域影响广泛而持久的人民教育出版社出版的不同版本英语教材为对象，从语法项目的编排结构、呈现方式、练习设计三方面进行分析，对不同阶段教材中的语法教学方式和设计思路进行探讨。通过分析发现人教版三个不同阶段的教材都很重视语法教学，但在语法教学设计思路上发生了变化，语法教学更加关注语言的运用。

The role grammar teaching plays in language teaching has always been a controversial topic. Influenced by theories from western world, the attitude towards grammar teaching has changed accordingly. Since 1980s, especially the current curriculum reform, the grammar teaching has changed in China with more focus on the use of language. However, some misunderstanding still exists in grammar teaching, which put grammar teaching into the opposite position against communicative language teaching. In China, the textbook, as an important recourse and basis, is an essential part in curriculum. By analyzing the arrangement of grammar items, ways of presenting, and exercises in the textbook, this thesis researches the change of grammar teaching in textbook and the rational within, which can help the language teachers fully understand the purpose of the textbook writers.With the method of text analysis, the research focuses on the most widely used textbooks published by People’s Education Press. The analysis on the arrangement of grammar items, presenting ways, and exercises in different version of the textbooks can show the change of grammar teaching in textbook and the rational within. The use of language has become the focus of grammar teaching.
