马来西亚作为伊斯兰教国家,由于文化和宗教传统的因素,大部分人在面对有关性的话题都选择回避的态度,认为性话题是一件禁忌不能谈论的问题,这也导致大部分父母或是学校不愿意与孩子讨论有关任何性的话题。性教育开展的问题还是不备受重视,不仅导致普通儿童接受性教育的质量受限制,智力障碍儿童的性教育更是如此。并且智力障碍者由于其身心发展特点,相较于同龄人需花更多的时间和精力才能了解性教育有关的知识和意识,预防其一些负面问题的事情发生。特殊教育教师的态度对智力障碍儿童性教育的开展有着重要的作用。 本研究的主题主要是围绕着马来西亚特教教师为智力障碍开展性教育的态度进行研究和探讨。研究问题为:(1)马来西亚特殊教育教师对智力障碍学生实施性教育的看法和态度如何?(2)哪些因素影响了马来西亚特殊教育教师对智力障碍学生的性教育态度?(3)在实施性教育时面临的困难和挑战是什么?最后通过了解马来西亚特殊教育教师对开展性教育课题的态度和意愿,依据教师所面对的问题以及需求提供有用的解决方案以促进性教育的实施。 研究方法是以问卷调查法和文献法对179名特教教师来进行研究。根据所收集的数据进行SPSS 23版统计分析,得出了马来西亚特殊教育教师对待开展性教育的态度保持中等偏上,是为积极的表现。教师的专业能力水平和学校对待的重视程度以及教师处理性话题的舒适程度都是影响教师开展性教育的态度和意愿。另外,在研究中也发现了,教师专业素养、工作经验、性教育经验和学校地区与教师实施性教育的态度存在显著的差异。 针对研究的成果所发现的问题和阻碍,对当前开展性教育面对的障碍进行讨论与提出相关教育建议。根据所收集的数据,并结合出支持性教育开展的因素包括政府支持:经济上的辅助、政策保障以及性教育教材的制定;提高家长意识与加强家校合作;提供师资培训;性别问题;学校地区;提高性教育观念。 |

Malaysia is an Islamic country and due to cultural and religious traditions, most people choose to avoid the topic of sexuality and consider it a taboo subject to discuss with their children. Despite the seemingly conservative culture, there are many cases of underage sex and sexual offences in Malaysia. The lack of awareness of the concept of sex education in Malaysia has also resulted in children being unaware of sexual abuse. As a result, the quality of sex education for ordinary children is limited, especially for children with intellectual disabilities.In addition, due to the characteristics of physical and mental development, people with intellectual disability need more time and energy to understand the knowledge and awareness of sex education and prevent some negative problems compared with their peers. The attitude of special education teachers plays an important role in the development of sex education for children with intellectual disabilities This study focuses on the attitudes of Malaysian special education teachers towards sex education. The research questions are as follows: (1) How do Malaysian special education teachers view and attitude towards sex education for students with intellectual disabilities? (2) What factors influence Malaysian special education teachers' attitude towards sex education for students with intellectual disabilities? (3) What are the difficulties and challenges in implementing sex education? By understanding the attitude and willingness of Malaysian special education teachers on the subject of open malleable education, it provides useful solutions to promote the implementation of sex education according to the problems and needs of teachers. The methodology of the study was based on questionnaire and documentation method to 179 special education teachers. Based on the data collected, SPSS version 23 statistical analysis revealed that the attitude of Malaysian special education teachers towards the implementation of sex education remained moderately positive. The teachers' level of professional competence and the importance of the school's treatment as well as the teachers' comfort level in dealing with the topic of sexuality were found to influence the teachers' attitudes and willingness to conduct sexuality education. It was also found in the study that there were significant differences between teachers' professionalism, work experience, experience in sex education and school district and teachers' attitudes towards implementing sex education. In response to the problems and obstacles identified by the results of the study, the current obstacles to carry out sex education are discussed and relevant education suggestions are put forward. Based on the data collected, the factors that support the implementation of sex education can be categorized into three main points: government support: financial assistance, policy protection and the development of sex education materials; raising parents’ awareness and strengthening home-school cooperation; the provision of teacher training; gender issues; school area; and improve the concept of sex education. |
