作家格非从上世纪八十年代以“先锋小说家”的姿态登上中国文坛，其创作活力一直延续到现在。虽然在1994年《欲望的旗帜》之后，格非接近十年都没有发表作品，但这十年也恰恰是其呕心沥血的十年，深入思考中国社会、历史、知识分子等问题的十年沉潜期。当他在2004年以《人面桃花》强势回归文坛之后，似乎比当年同时代的先锋作家走得更为深远，尤其是其近年作品，它们以丰富的细节和场景、最真切的中国当代生活经验、文体上的充分自觉，有效切中了一个时代的精神症候。从八十年代到现在，格非的小说创作中，无论是其表达的内容还是其内在底蕴，都一直贯穿着一种知识分子精神，尤其是近些年来，格非不仅坚守继承，而且不断超越自己，其作品的知识分子性显得愈发浓烈，甚至已经在逼近一种纯粹的“知识分子写作”了。本文拟从“知识分子写作”的角度对格非的小说创作予以整体性观照，从文本与修辞两方面挖掘其创作中呈现出来的“知识分子性”以及其对当下“知识分子写作”的启示。 本论文由五个部分组成:绪论部分通过对选题的研究现状进行概述与梳理，围绕着研究视角与选题意义阐明该论文写作的意图和价值所在。第一章“格非与‘知识分子写作’”包括两方面的内容。第一、旨在通过对“知识分子”、“知识分子写作”等概念进行源与流的梳理，从而对作为本文研究视域的“知识分子写作”及其相关概念进行界定，为本文进一步论述奠定理论前提并确定讨论范畴。第二、对格非小说的创作概况和其从文本到修辞呈现出来的“知识分子性”予以概述并对其与东西方“知识分子写作”传统的关系予以追溯。第二章“如何书写文化与精神意义上的当代——格非‘知识分子写作’的主题话语”与第三章“徘徊于‘智性’与‘诗性’之间——格非‘知识分子写作’的诗学价值”是对论文第一章所提出的格非小说创作的“知识分子性”的展开论述，也是论文的主体部分。这两章分别从文本与修辞两个方面对其予以观照。第二章从文本层面的论述主要围绕格非小说中对革命与历史的反思、知识分子的精神史、对中国社会文化的批判三个层次探析格非怎样书写了精神与文化意义上的当代。第三章从修辞层面的论述围绕其徘徊于“智性”与“诗性”之间的叙事风格，挖掘格非小说创作中的艺术特征。西方文化的影响以及知识分子自身身份的特殊性使格非始终坚守一种“智性叙述”，传统“士”文化的遗传又使其小说在结构与气韵上向中国古典美学致敬，且让两种风格在其小说文本中融合得恰到好处。论文第四章“格非‘知识分子写作’的意义”是将该论题放在“相关性”中予以提炼与升华。围绕着当下“知识分子写作”的困境与出路问题探讨格非“知识分子写作”的独特价值及其之于当下“知识分子写作”乃至整个中国当代文学的意义。

The writer——GeFei， has entered the literary arena as a pioneer writer since 1980s, he always keeps active up to now. Although after publishing the novel entitled “The flag of desire”, GeFei didn’t create any works in ten years, this ten years are also a prepare time for him. During this time, he paid close attention to the issues about Chinese society, Chinese history, Intellectuals and so on. When he came back to literary arena with his work “A Gorgeous Face” in 2004, he gone further compared with other pioneer writers. There are abundant details and scenes, real life experience in contemporary time and high sense of form especially in his late works. From 1980s to now, whether contains or forms in his fictions, the spirit of intellectuals as a spiritual essence existed in them. In resent years, he not only commits to inherit traditions, but also tries his best to beyond himself. His works have approach to a pure Intellectuals ’Writing. This paper intends to study Gefei’s fictions from perspective of Intellectual Writing, try to excavate intellectuals’ spirit in two aspects of text and rhetoric and enlightenment meaning which his works give us. This paper includes five parts: the introduction Summaries the current status of the study, then illustrates the purpose and value of this research. Chapter One “GeFei and Intellectual Writing” is consisted by two parts. First, throughout tease apart the concept such as “Intellectuals” and “Intellectual Writing” to lay a solid foundation for further research. Second, introduce the basic situation of GeFei’s fictions and the relation with Intellectual Writing tradition. Chapter two is regarding the topical subjects of GeFei’s Intellectual Writing. Through analyzing the texts, we can know his views about Chinese revolution, mental state of intellectuals, Chinese society and culture. Chapter three discusses the narrative features of his fictions. We can find his works are between wisdom and poetic which belong to intellectuals come from western world and ancient China. The two styles blending in his works make them acquire a unique contemporary feature. Chapter four is about the significance of Gefei’s intellectual writing. We can draw a conclusion that GeFei’s creations have their value and have a great impact on intellectual writing in China now.
