2016年,被媒体称为知识付费元年,2017年,中国知识付费产业规模约为49.1亿元,同比增长近三倍。知识付费在短短时间内迅速扩张,成长为一个新兴的数字内容经济产业。而在这其中知识付费PGC模式又是主流的一类。知识付费及其PGC模式是什么,这一新业态为人们提供怎样的新产品或新服务?作为新兴的数字内容产业业态,其内在驱动是什么?在内容生产和市场运营上分别有何特点?作为一种传媒业态,它的发展趋势如何?从传媒经济学的角度来看,有必要对这一新形式的内容产业进行全面研究。
本文立足于梳理知识付费PGC模式这一新业态的发展驱动、现状以及趋势,在具体的研究中以产业结构、内容生产、市场运营等为切入点集中进行研究,借助数字内容产业经济学的理论视角,对产业发展的深层逻辑和特征进行提炼。本文第一章在梳理知识及其商品化、产业化的历史进程后,详细讨论了作为一种数字内容产业新业态的知识付费的生成过程,并将之区分为UGC模式和PGC模式,对后者的特征进行界定和研究;本文第二章聚焦知识付费PGC模式的产业结构,对其市场驱动、发展条件、产业链环节等方面进行详细讨论;第三章对知识付费PGC模式下的产业核心环节,即内容生产,进行了详细研究,分别从生产模式、产品化策略、生产特点等几个维度对知识付费PGC模式的内容生产进行全面研究;第四章对知识付费的市场运营策略进行讨论,分别提炼了两种运营模式和两种商业模式。第五章是文章的最后一部分,在基于知识付费PGC模式的现状对其发展问题进行简要概述后,对知识付费PGC模式的未来发展趋势进行了展望。

2016 was called the first year of the paid knowledge industry. The scale of the paid knowledge industry in China was about 4.91 billion in 2017,nearly triple the level of a year ago . The paid knowledge industry,was boomed in short time and developed into a new digital content industry. What is the paid knowledge industry?what kind of product or service does the industry produce?And what is the feature with its’ content production and market operation?As a kind of media industry,how is the future of it?From the prospect of the media Economics,it’s necessary to conduct a research about this content industry.
This paper aimed at giving a description of the paid knowledge industry concluded of the drive force、present situation and development trend,and tried to find out the inner logic of the industry by the help of theory of the digital content economics.In the first part,the paper described the emergency of the paid knowledge industry. And then distinguished the two kinds of the model of the paid knowledge industry,which was the UGC model and the PGC model. In the second part,the paper focused on the PGC paid knowledge industry. The discussion was concluded as the industrial structure,the market driven and conditions for development. In the third part,the paper was focused on the the process of the content production which included the product model,product strategy and the features of the process.Then in the fourth part,the paper discussed the two types of the marketing strategies and two kinds of business model. Lastly,the paper discussed the problem and the development trend of the industry to prospect the future of this ecently emergent industry.
