研究者们把英语学习者因本族语文化的缺失而不能有效地与外国人进行文化交流的现象称为“母语文化失语”。具体而言，在中国，其被称之为“中国文化失语”。为了避免中国文化失语现象的发生，英语教材作为英语教学的核心，理应受到更多的重视。尽管新课程标准明确指出英语教学应该增强文化教学的部分，但是反映在教材上，英美国家的文化占据了较大比重，中国文化没有得到视足够的重视。
在本文中，作者通试图分析人教版英语教材中的中国文化缺失现象，该研究问题主要包括: 1. 在人教版高中英语教材中是否存在中国文化缺失现象? 2.高中生用
