中国人口已经进入老龄化时期，未来随着城镇化的发展，以及老年人集中养老的趋势，城镇将是养老机构的集中地区。北京是率先进入人口老龄化的大城市之一,北京养老机构存在明显的地区差异，本文通过养老机构分布图刻画北京市养老机构的空间差异，利用相关分析等方法，从养老机构的供给和需求两方面刻画出养老机构供给与需求的相关性。本文研究结论是：第一,老年人数量与养老床位数量在各地区分布不均匀，这种供需关系呈现四个地带；城市核心区为相对供给低的地带；即老年人相对多，养老床位数少；核心区外围的多数中心城区为供需大致相当地带，即老年人多，床位也相对多;在近郊区也为供需大致相当地带，但是这一地带老年人少，养老床位也相对少；远郊区为供相对大于需求地带，那里老年人相对少，但是养老床位相对多。第二，北京养老机构地区差异性的可能原因是市场经济机制作用和政府宏观调控共同影响。

China has come into an aging period and the endowment institutions would be concentrated in urban areas with the development of urbanization and the endowment concentration. Beijing has become one of the biggest cities while there the obvious regional difference within it. The paper describes the correlation of the spatial difference on endowment institutions in Beijing with a chart on its distribution. By some correlation analyses it shows a correlation between the supply and demand on the endowment institutions. It concludes two points that first the quantity of the elder and affordable beds have an uneven distribution within areas which manifests four regions. Among them,the core areas present a relatively low supply place while supply and demand matches on the outer ones. For the suburban it also matches with a difference of a low quantity on both the elder and the beds while the rural areas supply exceeds demand. Secondly, the possible reason for the diversities is the influence by both market economic mechanisms and governmental macro regulations.
