Huge market contains almost all the world's multinational companies and local companies competing the elevator market share, which makes China's elevator market competition level has reached the white-hot degree. After review our traditional manufacturing industry, we can know that, the traditional production management mode hinders the further development of efficiency improvement and quality improvement. We should take actions to adjust the traditional production mode, by introducing lean manufacturing management concept to promote the manufacturing management level of Chinese elevator enterprise. Therefore, manufacturing high quality and on time delivered elevator products has become the key focus in order to enhance the market competitiveness of enterprises, which has gotten the universal attention by industry insiders. S Elevator Company is the world's larger elevator company, this paper studies on the elevator manufacturing process improvement of S company as the research object, and its manufacturing process improvement is particularly attracting more attention within the elevator industry. The key focus of this paper lies in the study of its specific lean manufacturing system – ACE, which is the quality management and process improvement theory and methodology. This is the key to improve the market competitiveness of S Elevator Company. Fully review of quality management and lean production is presented in this paper, on the basis of quality management, and lean production as the core. This paper briefly introduces the basic concept of ACE operating system and illustrates the function and relationship between each other components of ACE. On this basis, it elaborates the actual application and improvement in the operation team and workshop of S Elevator Company.
