从语言与文化的关系出发，本研究旨在通过语料分析的方式，探求21世纪以来大众起名特征中展现的社会文化心态。本研究试图补充21世纪人名研究的空白，并尝试对现实问题提出建议。研究发现，在姓名结构上 ，“单字姓+双字名”占绝对主流；在人名的语音上，多数名字追求错落有致的音韵美，平声在姓氏与名字中均具有优势；在人名用字上，多数字隶属于《通用规范汉字表》一、二两级，其中部分字因其美好寓意成为 “高频字”。在语义方面，常用于人名中的语义可分为道德品质类、才华学识类、情绪类、人生状态类、美好事物类、谐音及英文名。对这些语义进行进一步分析，可总结出21世纪社会文化心态的如下几个特征：1、性别差异存在但逐渐淡化。2、家庭观念日趋平等。3、求吉心理。4、“含蓄美”、“意境美”的文化倾向。5、受传统文化影响明显。6、一定的求新求异。

Based on the relationship of language and social culture, the research aims to conclude social-cultural reflections from names which appear in 21st century by the means of corpus analysis. It tries to fill in the blank of the personal-name’s study in 21st century and give suggestions to the reality. In terms of naming form, "single-syllable surname + double-syllable characters" is the absolute mainstream;in the terms of pronunciation, beauty sound is pursued and Pingsheng takes an advantage in personal name’s characters.;in the terms of character, most of the characters can be found in “Universal Standardized Chinese Character List”(Level 1&2) and some characters appear frequently because of their good meanings. The semantics in personal name usually can be divided into seven types: morality, intelligent, moods, life, good things, homophones and English-related name. From the above analysis, we can conclude some features of the social-cultural reflection in 21st century:1\Gender differences exist and have a tendency to fade. 2\Family concept has turned equal. 3\ The psychology of seeking good fortune. 4\The cultural tendency of implicit beauty. 5\Traditional culture has a strong effect.  6\Partly Innovation.
