本文利用有关抽样调查数据，通过建立农民工职业选择的三个Logit模型，分析了人力资本及社会资本因素对农民工职业选择的影响。这些影响主要体现在提升农民工的职业层次和帮助农民工实现正规就业。对15个城市外来务工人员的实证分析表明，受教育年限、培训、城市工作经历等人力资本因素对农民工的职业选择有着显著的影响，是决定农民工职业选择的主要因素，而社会资本对农民工职业选择的作用十分有限。此外，不同的人力资本因素和社会资本因素对农民工的职业选择有着不同的影响。造成这种差异的原因包括职业层次本身的差别、城市劳动力市场的分割和社会资本的二元分割，本文据此提出了相关的政策建议。

In this paper, with some related sample survey data,through the establishment of three Logit models on migrant workers’ choice of career, we analyzed the effects of human capital and social capital on migrant workers’ choice of career. These effects are primarily reflected in the upgrading of migrant workers in occupational levels and helping migrant workers to achieve formal employment. The empirical analysis of the migrant workers from 15 cities shows that years of education, training, urban working experience and other human capital factors have significant impact on migrant workers’ choice of career and they are the main determinants of migrant workers’ choice of career. However, the social capital has a very limited impact on migrant workers’ choice of career. In addition, different human capital and social capital factors have different impacts on migrant workers’ choice of career. The reasons for the differences include the differences in their occupational levels, the segmentation of the urban labor market and the binary segmentation of social capital. Based on these analysises, the paper puts forward some policies and recommendations.
