国以才立，政以才治，业以才兴。诚如习近平同志所言：“发展是第一要务，人才是第一资源，创新是第一动力”，新世纪新阶段，校友作为高校人才资源的重要组成部分，在国内受到愈来愈高的重视，其作用也越来越明显。然而一个重要课题摆在高校面前，即如何使高校校友资源开发与管理做到高效与合理，充分发挥其对高校发展的推动作用。为了顺利开展校友工作，各大高校纷纷建立了以校友会为主要形式的校友组织机构，虽然成绩得到了一定的提升，但与国外校友工作相比，我国在校友工作理论和实践中仍有着许多亟待完善的地方。本文采用研究方法有比较研究法、案例分析法、调查研究法等，依据大量文献和理论研究基础，从我国高校的校友资源开发与管理的现状入手，将国外高校成功经验加以分析、总结和研究，再结合我国高校自身情况，最后提出我国高校开展校友资源开发与管理工作应遵循原则和实施策略。

It is talents that found the country, carry out the policies and thrive the industry. As President Xi Jinping says “Development is the first priority, talent is the first resource, and innovation is the primary driving force.” In the new century, alumni, as an important part of the human resources of universities, are increasingly high in China. Attention, its role is more and more obvious. However, an important topic is placed in front of universities, that is, how to develop and use of alumni resources efficient and reasonable, and give full play to its role in promoting the development of colleges and universities. In order to successfully carry out alumni work, major universities have established alumni organizations with alumni associations as the main form. Although their achievements have been improved, compared with foreign alumni work, there are still much work to do about alumni theory and practice in our country. In this paper, there are comparative research methods, case analysis methods, investigation methods, and so on. Based on a large number of literature and theoretical research, we begin with the current situation of the development and application of alumni resources in universities in China, and analyze, summarize, and study the successful experiences of foreign universities. Then, combined with the situation of our country's colleges and universities, we finally put forward the principles and strategies for the development and application of alumni resources in our universities.
