本文运用观察法、访谈法等研究方法及批判教育社会学作为理论工具对河北省广平县N中学课堂学生文化进行了描述与分析。调查研究发现,该校课堂学生文化主要表现为:学生对课堂教育推行普通话和传授非本土文化为主的课程内容表现出很大的不适应。分小组合作学习加剧了学生分化,不利于学生的发展;严厉教师的课堂上多出现调侃课堂的现象,宽松教师的课堂小组合作学习几乎使整个教室混乱不堪;教师提问多偏向学习好的学生;从整体上看,学生回答教师问题的质量不高,因为小组合作学习使得一些学生没有充分思考而过分依赖同伴的帮助。课堂上存在普遍的抄作业现象,抄作业的原因主要是:不会做、作业多;有超过一半的学生曾有过厌学情绪;在人生定位方面,学生多为没有理想。 据此本研究得出如下基本结论:课堂教学排斥方言,增加了学生学习的难度;课程内容远离学生的日常生活,加剧了学生的理解困难;小组合作学习不适合农村中学课堂教学;学生普遍的自我放弃与无理想。针对农村初中课堂学生文化存在的问题,本文的建议是,课堂不应排斥方言和乡土文化,学校教育应注重使用方言和乡土文化增进学生对国家课程的理解;取消不适应农村学校的课堂小组合作学习形式;改变影响学生自我建构的精英主义的教育理念、制度与课程设计。
外文摘要:
This thesis ,which through the critical education sociology as a theoretical tool ,conducts a research in N Middle School, Guangping County, Hebei Province, by means of literatures, observations and interviews.Through this research we find that the students in N Middle School show great inadaptability to the course content of speaking Mandarin and learning non-native culture; the group learning method leads to the early differentiation among students and therefore is harmful to their development, and it makes the class in confusion when the teachers are not strict; even to the strict teachers, there are still students poking fun in class; teachers ask the good students questions in most cases; often the students who are asked to answer questions benefit a lot; generally speaking, the students do not perform well in answering the teachers’ questions; the copying of assignments in N Middle School is rampant, and the main reasons are as follows; too much and difficult homework; more than half of the students are weary of learning; having no future planning, no dreams or low dreams.From the above analyses, it can be concluded that teaching in Mandarin instead of the local dialects makes the learning more difficult for the students; the teaching materials are not based on students’ daily life so that it is difficult for them to understand; the group teaching method is not fit for them; most students show a low motivation in study and have no dreams.The suggestions for improvements of the current situation in those rural middle schools are as follows: first, the class should not neglect the local dialects and culture, but pay attention to the differences between their dialects and their culture since they can facilitate the students’ understanding of the national curriculum; second, abolish group learning method but adopt the improved“yangtianshi”(the students sit in their own seats rather than in groups)method; To change the teaching philosophy,system and course design based on elitism that affects the self-construction of the students.
