金庸小说涉及多个民族，小说的历史背景亦多选择在民族矛盾尖锐时期，民族问题是金庸小说的重要主题之一。在民族国家的历史大背景下，金庸小说中的 女性人物却往往将民族家国置于一个次要甚或无关紧要的位置,她们多无视传统华夷之分，对民族国家问题持一种漠视态度，在她们那里，民族认同感往往让位于爱情，她们的民族意识也因此多淹没于爱情之下。造成这种状况的原因主要是金庸的女性观念，虽然金庸自身的民族观念在女性人物的民族意识中有所投射, 但女性仍非金庸表达民族观念阐释侠文化的主要对象。

Against the background that ethnic problem is the most prominent problem in the country,however,the female characters in Jin Yong’s novels often don’t take the fate of their country into consideration and disregard national problem because in their eyes there is no difference between China and minority nationality, only love matters. Their national consciousness is drowned in love.The leading cause of this situation lies in Jin Yong’s view towards female.Although Jin Yong’s ethnic thought were interpreted by the national consciousness of feminine characters sometimes,females still aren’t the main character to interpret ethnic thought and emprise culture in Jin Yong’s novels.
